We called ahead to obtain information about the shooting range & if we need reservations. We came down with the expectations of being able to shoot. Did not happen. The staff made us feel unwanted. Was not informed the range isn't opened during deer season. Would not recommend. Wasted weekend and driving 4 hours to get there.

Off the beaten track and catering to golfers and shooters, the restaurant here is pretty good. The rooms? Meh? Not so hot. You can't get Wi-Fi in the room at all, and the room itself is, well, rustic. Friendly staff at night, but in the morning at check out I asked if there were a discount available and got a... More

-WiFi only available in the lobby (I was never able to connect--they use a crap home router that has to be reset often) -Rooms are horribly outdated (ugly counter tops, bedding, light fixtures) -Bed is too firm -Associated restaurant is hit or miss depending on the cook (stayed for a week) -No swimming pool -Owners poured all their money into... My dad and I stayed here back in 1982. We loved the place and then came back in 1984. I always wanted to go back there but could not remember the name. When I was traveling back to the area I found it by accident. Well it was like traveling back in time. Everything was the same. This hotel is... More

Cave valley "winery" more like small hotel bar that charges $10 for wine tastings of WINE THEY DIDN'T MAKE!!! Very misleading advertising. I criticized them on their Facebook page & the owner private messages me with a rant about that I shouldn't try to sink his business with bad reviews blah blah.. he also said people on trip advisor" weren't... The hotel has a few drawbacks, but overall, it was a pleasant place to stay. There was no air conditioning when I stayed last weekend, and it was 80 degrees in my room. I was given a box fan and the windows were opened for me, so I slept okay. Also, the room had few standard conveniences such as a... More

Yes, this hotel is rustic and outdated but very clean and they allow pets. They have a restaurant that does a decent breakfast and although we didn't eat dinner there, it looked and smelled pretty good. One word of warning; the resort seems to host a lot of golfers and sportsmen (they have a shooting range on the property.) The... More

My large family has had our weekend-long family reunions at Park Mammoth Resort since 1990! The staff is like family to us. They accomodate each and every whim of our group at a great rate and with smiles on their faces. I love everything about this place - from the quaint and rustic decor, to the food and atmosphere of... More

Totally outdated but in an interesting way. Roomy, clean, a real throwback to the 1960s. I enjoyed seeing all the original furniture and fixtures. Don't go expecting a new fancy hotel and you'll be pleased. Staff was very nice.

This is a quiet quaint get away. We had a great family gathering. The staff is almost like family in that they are right there giving you all that you need. It's like going home to Mom and Dad's without the worry and work. Clean, clean, clean. The bed was really special. Breakfast was also special, like being at grandma's.... More
