Passing through Paducah on the way to points east, we stayed on the second floor of the 1857 on Halloween night. We invited some friends of ours from another state to meet us there and stay in the other bedroom on the second floor. The 1857 is very well appointed and has that great contrast of 20th century amenities in... More

The 1857 could not be more central to the very small but very pretty Paducah downtown. If you are looking for a fussy, mom & pop type b&b with hosts who will fuss and gossip and extoll the virtues of their home cooked breakfast, this place probably isn't for you. But if you are looking for a modern well appointed... More

This place is gorgeous, the location is perfect, and the folks who run it are all you could want! I've come to Paducah previously, and I've stayed at a couple of the regular hotels. But as long as they'll have me at the 1857, that's where you'll find me. I stayed in one of the 2nd floor rooms, and loved... More

We are Hilton Honors Select members, so I typically like to stay at a place in their affiliation, but my wife really wanted to stay in downtown Paducah so we could safely enjoy some adult beverages. So she found this place. The owner, Paul, is super friendly and courteous. The place itself still maintains its old school vibe, while being... More

This was a delightful, unexpected find! Gorgeous, historic area with exposed brick walls, lovely decor, pretty kitchen and even an outdoor patio overlooking the rooftops! Paul, the innkeeper, was engaging and responsive. He also owns JP Bar & Grille and Tribeca Mexican Restaurant right beside and underneath us. We enjoyed the grille. Great American food with pretty outdoor courtyard patio.... More

We were just passing through, found Paul's 1857 bed-and-breakfast on air B&B. We knew we were going to get in late and he met us at the B&B at 10:30 at night gave us a tour and took great care of us. The place is fantastic and Paul took fantastic care of us. Can't thank you enough Paul. Would definitely... More

My friend and I attended a concert at the nearby Carson Center. We stayed on the entire second floor of this Bed and Breakfast. The decor was very eclectic and we felt very much at home. The check in experience was flawless and the best that I have ever experienced. The owner demonstrated superior customer service from beginning to the... More

I stayed here in February on the second floor and loved it. Let's just say that I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Paducah! It was comfortable and the folks were really nice! I would recommend this hotel to other business travelers.

Clean, well appointed third floor suite. We stayed in mid-January and were quite comfortable with room temperatures. As with other reviews, we were impressed with the fixtures and the style of decoration. Folks were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was done by our choice on our own, going to the bakery one street over (We did find H&H and OJ in... More

We stayed here for ten nights in December during our Christmas visit to Paducah. We had the 2 bedroom apt on the first floor. First of all, it is a wonderful space with lots of room and beautifully appointed. The beds were big and comfortable. We told them we didn't need breakfast so can't speak to that. The hosts Paul...
