If your looking for a place to get away and enjoy the outdoors then its great! Hotel rooms are outdated but still very functional. Is ideal for fishermen or couples who dont want to be bothered since the location is pretty secluded. The owners are very friendly and try to help anyway they can.

We booked a room and paid the deposit for our stay in June 2015. We've stayed at this resort before and it's ok. The rooms are outdated and they need to get rid of the wasp nests and clean the patio furniture. There isn't much to do besides fish and swim in the pool and that's exactly what we were... More

This place is just awesome - it is exactly what it is supposed to be for people who want to get "out there" away from it all and fish, boat, hike, or whatever. The beds are new and very very comfortable, the bathrooms are just fine, and the folks who run this place - Joe and Susan - are WORLD... More

This place is privately owned and it reminded me of a real fishing camp from the 60's. It has everything you could want. 3 covered decks to fish on. Great views. We had a motel room and my other family had a condo. The owners were so friendly and very informative. The only STRANGE thing to us was a fridge... More

Just got back from Kentucky Lake. Stayed at Kentucky Beach Resort where we had everything we needed for a great stay. Clean and spacious cabin, private boat ramp, fish cleaning station, gasoline for boat. Quiet, peaceful location right on Blood River. Will be going back there again and again. Owners bent over backwards to make us feel at home.

I am a professional bass fisherman and travel to many lakes around the country. My favorite stop is Kentucky Lake...for two reasons: 1) The lake is an excellent bass fishery, and 2) I absolutely love staying at Kentucky Beach Resort!! This resort is clean, well priced, has excellent covered docking facilities with fuel, and the owners are wondeful people who... More

If I could give it a Zero, I would. We just got home from this place. I have stayed in some bad places in my life but I have never stayed in a place this disgusting. We needed a place to stay for "Family Weekend" at Murray State and everything in town was booked. This was the only place that... More

Grandma took us here this past weekend. She rented the family cabin (which could sleep 14, I believe). There were 11 of us, including 2 childeren. The cabin slept all of us comfortably. The property is great. Fishing on the bank or the boat is great! The beach wasnt in great shape- but the little ones still played there. The... More

Only wish I could give a rating of less than 1... Terrible shape, needs upgrades, let me list a few of the issues... 1. Office reeks of cigarette smoke 2. Linoleum on floors pulling up and dirty 3. Mold growing on ceiling 4. Lots of paint peeling from ceiling and walls 5. Rude behavior from staff 6. Old wiring, electric... More

My wife and I have stayed at Kentucky Beach Resort for over 8 years. The last few years we would stay there as many as 4 times a year while our retirement home was being built on Kentucky Lake (we are from Illinois). Since the resort is located on the Blood River, you don't have to deal with the heavier... More
