Our family has been holding our Family Reunion for the past 8 years at Twin Knobs group campsite. We absolutely love this campground thus the reason we continue to come back each year. However, this year at the Boat Gunnel site the water spigot had a leak which caused much standing water all around that area which can become a... More

A very nice campgrounds. Each site is spacious, cozy, shaded, and has privacy. The beach on the lake is nice, with facilities for playing volleyball and other activities. There is an amphitheater as well (we did not attend the weekend movie there). We enjoyed a lot in the lake swimming and playing frisbee. The loop where we were tenting had... More

This is a hidden gem in central/eastern KY. Sites are level and large with plenty of space and trees between. Grounds are clean and bathrooms/showers are extra large and also clean. Cute little store by the beach area with all the essentials you may forget. Hosts and check-in were very friendly. If you are looking to get away and be... More

Great views, hosts , clean bath houses, clean lake, huge spots and great bike riding and boating, kayaking, hiking. Only drawback is lack of full hookups. But you can't have it all. Fills up quick for weekends. Get there early in the week to get a lake view spot.

Beautiful campground and spots are pretty private. Agree with all the good reviews. Only reason I did not give it a five is because we have a motorhome and there is NO WATER. Luckily we were close to the bathrooms but very inconvenient with an elderly person with us that has to gp to the bathroom three or four times... More

This was our 8th or so trip to Twin Knobs and it was great as always! The campsite was nice, bathrooms clean, staff friendly, etc. etc. I have read some of the other reviews where people were unhappy about the rules...and there are a list of rules that you are asked to follow, but honestly all of them were very... We have camped at this camp ground for almost 30 years.I agree with some, things have changed but it's still a good place to take your family. Each camp site is graveled, you must park your camper or stake your tent on the tent pads. Each site has a picnic table and a fire pit. The area is wooded and most... More

My husband and I stayed with our children last summer and had an excellent time! everyone was friendly. It was clean. No loud noise. The water was fun on our boat and the beach was the girls favorite place. Our girls loved it and so did we! We plan on returning this year too!

We spent four nights camping and fishing here, April 18- 22 2013. We had read some negative comments but they were so UNFOUNDED. The campgrounds were very clean and well maintained, Thousand Trails are the new operators & they go out of their way to be friendly & helpful. The bathrooms and shower are modern for a campground, these areas... More

The campground is well maintained and the hosts are very friendly. I saw hosts keeping the campsites clean as well as the fire rings. The new rest rooms are clean with hot showers. this is 1 of the best campgrounds I have visited. I will be visiting this campgrounds again.
