We stayed at the Executive Inn as part of the Eastern National 4-H Horse Roundup, during the Livestock Expo and Quarter Horse Show. The hotel is very convenient to the airport and fairgrounds, you could walk over, but rent a car if you fly in. The rooms were not great. The place is kind of a throw back to the... more

At first glance, it looked fine but as the night went on water leaking into tub never stopped running and beds felt like two by fours, restaurant too overpriced, as well as no ice in machine and sodas in hall too much anyway. Very disapointed! Only thing positive was location: right across from kentucky kingdom but should have stayed somewhere... more

It is not the Hilton, but it is certainly not the Bates Hotel either. We took our teens to Ky Kingdom and stayed two nights. We arrived, put the kids on the shuttle, and put ourselves in the lawn chairs by the beautiful pool for the next two days. How easy is that?! The pool is older, but very clean... more

I stay here with my family every time we go to Six Flags(about 8 times). We love the pool(courtyard). We're able to walk out our back door directly into the pool area. There's a bar by the pool which serves alcohol ,cokes and grilled burgers and hot dogs(priced well)The kids love it.The shuttle takes you back and forth to the park all day.There's... more

I actually have stayed at worse hotels in my time, but never at this price point. Had I paid $30 a night I still would have been sorely disappointed. The non-smoking room that I had reserved stank deeply of ages-old cigarette smoke. (Maybe non-smoking only meant that I myself would not be smoking in it while I was there.) The... more

We originally made reservations at the Executive Inn West. We live less than two hours away, and were going to Ky. Kingdom on Saturday. We booked a room at Ex. West because they advertised an indoor, heated pool with poolside rooms. The only reason we came a night early was so our kids could swim. The pool is in a... more

Is this the same hotel as some others have reviewed...? I will agree that the location is fairly unbeatable, but there are some real problems with this place. 1.) It's Byzantine. This hotel is absolutely huge and with no orderly numbering system. If you don't know where you're going when you check in you will walk a quarter mile out... more

We stayed 6 nights in the Exec West Inn across from 6 Flags for the Senior Olympics. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. Darlene's great attitude & care was appreciated in the hotel restaurant with decent food. Jeff (the bald one) & Rick were two of the bell staff that were incredibly accomodating, helping us get to... more

I booked this hotel through hotwire, given the price but expecting much worse than what it was. Best hotel as far as location to K.K. Incredibly easy walk to both the park and the Expo center. Free airport shuttle which runs 24 hours. Hotel struck me as incredibly charming with a Bavarian look to the inside of it. 2 great... more
