This is a great new find for me! Considering that I make several trips a year to Louisville...and have stayed in several different places...from downtown, around the airport, and even on Hurstbourne Lane...this is a great new find. It's convienient - with restaurants within walking distance (including Graeter's ice cream...major yum!) and a Barnes and Noble bookstore. But, you would... more

Unfortunately, upon my arrival (~3:30pm, check -in time is 3:00pm) I was informed that though I had made my reservations, via their 1-800 number, my room request would not be honored as it had already been assigned (on a first come first serve basis). The hotel manager told me that because other guest had arrived earlier, they were given priority;... more

My son and I spent three days at the hotel during spring break, we had a great time. The lobby always smelled fresh, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Good selection of items for breakfast. The room set-up was nice with the exception of the bathroom layout, other than that I would definately recommend this hotel if staying in... more

This was my first experience with Hyatt Place. The room was quite large with a separate sitting area. It is a great concept for families and certainly business travellers. Beds and linens were nice. Bathroom is very no-frills. See additional comments below. Towels were fine. The sitting area was great, with a pull-out sectional sofa. Desk area was nice and... more

The hotel is wonderfully clean and fresh looking (and smells wonderful... I'm not sure what the spray in the lobby and elevators, but it's wonderful, light and fresh). The room is quite large and is set up "almost" like a true suite. There is a floor to ceiling wall/partion separating the living area from the bed area. There is a... more

Upon Check-In, we were greeted and given a small tour of the gallery, which was awesome The Room was VERY CLEAN and smelled wonderful. GOTTA LOVE THE 42" HDTV!!! The staff were very friendly But whatever you... more

My wife and I spent five carefree days at the Hyatt Place in east Louisville. We go to Louisville almost every year and the eastside of town is very nice, with open green space as well as super shopping and dining. Check -in was automated and spit our card keys out - cool. A very nice lady helped me and... more

I loved this room! It was spacious with the exception of the bathroom. You could not shut the door once you were in there. The staff at the hotel were polite. Housekeeping could have been better. On the first day, the housekeeping staff asked if we wanted our room serviced (I never had that happen before). When we returned later... more

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and all the beds comfortable including the the sofa bed. My travelling group was comprised of my mother, daughter, 2 grandkids (2.5 yrs and 4 mos.) and me. We found the breakfast adequate with plenty of variety. We would certainly stay there again. Probably the only "con" was the... more

Hyatt Place Louisville East in Louisville, KY is tucked away in a quiet area a few miles from the interstate. This hotel was clean and comfortable, the front desk clerk even took our bags up to our room. There are lots of chain hotels on the same road, but they are all up close to the highway dotted among restaurants... more
