First off the hotel room was disgusting. The bedding had a mildew smell and there were large noticeable water stains on the ceiling, which I can only attribute to the roof leaking on the bedding and housekeeping not cleaning the wet bedding. The prices in the bar did not reflect the hotel the bar was in. $4 for a bottle... more

This is a pretty typical Ramada Inn. Yeah, there was toothpaste in the sink, but otherwise it seemed clean enough, although certainly nothing commendable about it. Worth an overnight stay if you do not intend to spend much time in the room. more

Really wanted to like this place, but it's a low rent masquerade. First thing was the hairs that didn't belong in the sink (yes, those kind). Then the toilet not particularly well-cleaned (more hairs). How about the dirty towel behind the bathroom door. Oh, and the dirty, stained, hand towel hung beside the new towels at the sink. Cheap toilet.... more

Just say no!! I don't even know where to begin with this hotel. First off, it's in a bad section. I did NOT feel safe there. The rooms were dark, smelled of just ... musk, mixed with an over powering cleaning smell. I'm convinced they had air freshener in there - because the room was NOT clean. I didn't run... more

The woman at the desk was extremely helpful; the TV included all nearly 70 channels with HBO, Showtime. However, not much nearby, even expense gas, much cheaper around the city. However, it is right off of I-71 that makes it nice. It was winter and cold outside so the heater made a lot of noise and rooms where exterior corridors... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel one night after it was hard to find other vacancies in our city. We live in Louisville, and found this Ramada to be a great "hideout". The next day we went shopping and out to eat in St. Matthews/Middletown. Overall the room was freezing! We turned on the heat but it probably... more

Based on reviews here, I booked this property. It is just as others said. Our room is large, clean, quiet and an excellent internet wireless connection. We plan to eat in their restaurant based on reviews. The Louisville Slugger Museum was great-the bat we purchased was ready for us after the tour. Parking lot next door to it is only... more

The good- low price; lifeguard at pool; nice lobby area; park-like setting; decent and clean rooms; management seems to be very good and tries hard with what they have Not so good- needs many updates; probably because of the price, some of the guests are a bit sketchy (for example, the drunk "lady" on the balcony above us when we... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here while in town for a wedding. We wanted to stay downtown, but could not find a hotel for under $100 per night. This is a great alternative. It is only a couple of miles from downtown, either by highway or by taking the River Road which runs right behind the hotel. This is a... more

Overview: I stayed at the Ramada Louisville Downtown North for 2 nights earlier this month--April 2007. First Impression: The hotel is very huge and spread out over beautifully maintained grounds. There is a large pool in the center, surrounded by 2 large buildings, and tons and tons of lush green lawn all over the grounds. You drive through a large... more
