The Seelbach was the perfect choice for my family and I during our trip to Louisville. The staff is extremely courteous, helpful and assisted in anyway we asked. The entire hotel has a classic charm to it and the history behind the hotel and its connection of Al Capone staying there kept our intrigue. Like all Hilton properties it is... More

Stayed at this hotel for one night with my husband. The lobby is very beautiful. Rooms are small and dated, but clean. Beds were comfortable enough. We did not spend much time at the hotel so the room was suitable for us. We did visit the bar and it was nice. The hotel is right outside 4th Street Live. Had... More

The Seelbach is an old property. The lobby is beautifully decorated and dark (too dark for my standards). The rooms are tiny (as in the majority of old buildings) and the furniture is "tired". In the middle of my shower the water turn cold so consequently I had half a warm and half a cold shower. I have travelled plenty,... More

I love historic hotels and really enjoyed my stay at the Seelbach. The hotel is 110 years old, full of character, but extremely well updated. The internet was very fast and the water pressure was awesome, something that older hotels ofter struggle with. The service was excellent, if you get a chance, find Larry, the hotel historian. It was so... More

From check in, to the bar and staff we felt comfortable, well taken care of and a great location. We loved the valet service for the car - it was worth the additional fee. While our bath was tiny, the shower was great.

The Seelbach Hilton is a lovely place with a marvelous sense of history. The rooms are quiet and tasteful with comfortable furnishings. Every staff member with whom I've interacted has been gracious and friendly. This is just a delightful place to stay, and you can't beat the location!

This hotel was beautiful. I love historic hotels and this one was also in the perfect location next to many restaurants and bars. We only stayed one night so we did not get to experience the Oak Room, but we wont miss it when we come back this fall!

The rooms are clean and decently sized. It’s on the National Register of Historical Places so the lobby is beautiful with lots of amazing architectural details. The staff is courteous, and they have a free shuttle to the Louisville airport. Tip: Make sure to book your shuttle ride the night before you leave for the airport. It leaves every 30... More

Being downtown Louisville is a must, and this hotel has a great location! Fourth Street Live is right out the front doors. The history of the hotel is intriguing. It is a beautiful hotel - I can't wait to go back sometime! The staff is outstanding in their friendliness and hospitableness.

While on a two week vacation we stayed in eight hotels in seven states, including Marriott, Candlewood Suites, Hampton Inn, two Embassy Suites, Holiday Inn, Sheraton, and the Seelbach Hilton. We had great experiences at all but two and the Steelbach Hilton was by far the worst. The broken shower tiles were covered with hair, the bathroom shelves were covered... More
