Great old hotel I had a great experience. Lobby is beautiful, room is great but realize its a 100 plus year old hotel so its laid out in a different manner than more modern facilities. Bathroom is small but efficient, room is smaller. Only drawback we stayed across from the elevators and could hear everyone talking as they waited for... More

I made a short business trip to Louisville--mu first visit to the Bluegrass State-- and was happy that I chose to bool at the Seelbach Hilton. The hotel is in a great location--centrally located bu not next to the Freeway, so it is surprisingly quiet. but it is a very short walk to the convention center and many attractions and... More

Seelbach Hilton must have been a grand hotel in its day. But I am sorry to say that it is in desperate need of a renovation. The lobby is beautiful and the staff is amazing. Such professional hospitality is rare and very hard to find, that is why I am giving the hotel 3 out of 5. For the amount... More

Traveling with an injury would never be my choice, but sometimes circumstances intervene. Alone and with limited ability to ambulate, the staff was very helpful, made me feel safer and less awkward. Room was lovely, food acceptable--arrived late, had drinks and a sandwich--sandwich very dry. Breakfast was great. Hotel was beautifully decorated (Christmas).

Thank you for the lovely response. I am sorry to hear about your injury, but I am certainly glad to hear that our team was able to provide you with such great service. It does sound like we could have made a couple of improvements with our food and beverage service, and I will be sure to pass along that... More

The Hotel has great history but the price of the rooms for the size of the rooms is not very good to say the least. The executive lounge is quaint. The hors d'oeuvre and breakfast are weak considering what your paying. The is a host on the weekends for breakfast who spends your whole morning talking about himself and the... More

Thank you for your candid review. I certainly regret that you did not experience the value or room quality that you expected on your recent visit. It is our goal to provide all guests a value commensurate or exceeding the dollar amount spent. As a historic property we do candidly acknowledge that a selection of our rooms are smaller than... Beautiful Hotel located in downtown Louisville. We only stayed one night with business Christmas party. This hotel now a Hilton property but has been in Louisville for many years. Still very elegant, as you walk into reservation desk one of the most beautiful spiral staircases I have seen. Room was updated in modern furniture and very clean.

My wife and I were at the Louisville Hilton for a business trip and stayed on a Sunday and Monday. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was well taken care of, and our time there was very nice. The only 2 issues that we had was that the room was a little small and the shower has... Fantastic example of how craftsmanship was valued and real standards we kept in the past. Interesting stories of al Capone just ask at the desk. It's a gorgeous lobby and a must see. While there stop a the bar for a specialty bourbon drink.

Steve, thank you for the wonderful review! We work hard to maintain the craftsmanship, whether it is a well crafted bourbon cocktail in the Old Seelbach Bar, or a polish of the stunning European marble in the lobby. We are thrilled that you enjoyed your experience here at the Seelbach and we hope you have the opportunity to come visit... More

The location is prime to support any time out in Louisville. If you want a great meal I suggest the Oak Room which has the best flavors around. The rich history and the property provide quest with that unmatched anywhere else in town.
