We came to Louisville to attend a family wedding. The hotel was prefect location to stay. We had a lovely room with a sitting room..Neat old charm. Quite a busy place that weekend with wedding parties. We enjoyed our stay.

Hotel reminded me of something out of a horror movie. Long, dark, quiet halls, hardly anyone around. Room was extremely small I've actially never seen a hotel room that small before, and bathroom was even smaller. But it was nice to stay at least once in this historic hotel

This hotel is a real classic and has great history. The lobby is so beautiful. Rooms feel their age--don't expect a modern sized bathroom--and are a little austere, but the bed is very comfortable and it is spotlessly clean. Be advised that some rooms face live music venues that play until about 11pm, in case you are a light sleeper.

This is a beautiful old hotel. It has been renovated, however it's maintained the old charm. Front check in were friendly and efficient. This hotel has a perfect location, right next to Fourth Street Live. We walked across the street and had a few evening cocktails and dinner. The rooms are small to American standards, but sufficient. Bed and pillows... More

My daughter chose to get married in Louisville, and wanted the beautiful Seelbach as the backdrop for her wedding photos. Since I had noticed mixed reviews on this site I contacted Manager Peter Dueppen Peter.Dueppen@interstatehotels.com to help us with our arrangements. Peter made sure that we had exactly what we needed. When booking this hotel for any reason remember that... More

We stayed for a weekend trip and left the second night to stay at the Brown Hotel instead (much nicer). The walls are very thin, you hear everything from the rooms next door and everyone in the hall. This meant drunks from a wedding party woke us up all night and a screaming baby woke us up in the morning.... More

Perfectly located in the City Centre, you might have a sleepless Night due to the Live Music blearing off 4th Street... All is there (Fitness, WiFi, TV that works...) and the History and Interior suggest Grandeur, but the Hotel could do with a Revamp if it wants to achieve the 'wow' Factor...

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. Buy here are two. Never again. Do not disturb sign on door and maid came in. There is black mold in bathroom. Not the relaxing couple weekend that we had planned.

We love the common areas of this hotel. It's historic and beautiful. Location is tip top as well. All of the rooms we have stayed are adequately appointed, but small. We tend to spend little time in the rooms, so that's ok.
