My visit was totally over the top, exceptional, I can not find enough words to describe the incredibe experience. I stayed in the Attic which was breathtaking. All of the rooms are more beautiful than the website displays. The food was so delicious (Martha is a fantastic cook), and the warm feeling you are given by Martha and her staff... More

It is nice that this bed and breakfast is pet friendly. As most of the other reviews have pointed out the breakfast is wonderful and the home is beautiful. The derby room is the pet friendly room detached from the main house, it is clean with a very comfortable bed. There is also a park within walking distant, albeit you... More

Thank you for your review. We are happy to have very well behaved dog guests visit the inn. The Derby Room and Rose Cottage are both dog friendly. They each have easy access to the exterior and are completely separate from all the other rooms. We also do a deep cleaning after each dog visit. There are two parks within... More

I have been to Inn at Woodhaven many times over the past 18 years, but haven't been in a couple years. I felt compelled to write a review after reading several of the negative reviews on this site. I have found innkeeper Marsha Burton's hospitality to be top notch each and every time we have visited this bed and breakfast.... More

Wow, thank you. You have made my day...maybe my week! I am really appreciative of your kind words. I love my job and my inn and the guests that come here. We try to give our guests a great welcome and lots of value for their hard earned money. I do take the criticism and compliments seriously...much prefer the compliments... More

I stayed at the inn on my honeymoon in early October. We arrived very late and upon arrival we were greeted with homemade sandwiches and cookies which was wonderful because we had such a long day of driving. Breakfast was so great, everything was made to order and the people we so friendly and a pleasure to talk to. I... More

We are so glad you had a nice getaway at Woodhaven. And thank you for reviewing the Garden Room whirlpool and spa tub. The Garden Room whirlpool is a Bain Ultra from a Canadian company. It looks like an old tub but is really state of the art. In fact I first saw it at a innkeeping convention and had... More

Recently we were in Kentucky on business and several from our company stayed at the Inn at Woodhaven. We arrived late and they were very accommodating. We had the Rose Room and the Master Suite. They were both very beautiful and exactly what the website showed. The breakfast each day was amazing. They were decorating for Christmas while we were... More

Thank you for the great review of our little inn. We have lots of business travelers....and we appreciate that you choose us over the hotels in town. We are glad you came during Christmas. This year the tree in the parlor was the best yet. The Master Suite is one of my favorite rooms. You probably did not get to... More

My wife and I stayed here for one night in the private third floor Attic Suite. This house really is just beautiful and very spacious. Our bed was so comfortable, and we loved all the room we had in the third floor. The breakfast we had the next morning was also wonderful and more food than we could eat. However,... More

We are so sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. In my 21 years owning and living at the Inn we have been visited by the Attic flies three times. My Terminix representative tells me he can not figure our why they come, but they like attics. Another innkeeper friend of mine had them this year too.... More

I wanted to stay at a place other than a hotel and I found this cute b & b. I was welcomed and there are restaurants less than a mile from the place. I stayed in the Garden Suite and I loved it. Tea and coffee is provided in the room along with snacks. Breakfast is fantastic. I will stay... More

We recently stayed at the Inn at Woodhaven on our way to Florida. I came across the Inn a day before our stay. I knew we'd be getting in late, close to midnight. When I contacted the Inn to see if such a late arrival was feasible, they were more than accommodating. We stayed in the Cupola Room in the... More

Thank you for taking time to give us a review. I'm so glad that you liked the Cupola Room. It is our smallest room, but is very cozy and a very good sleeping room. Wish you all had been able to come earlier and get the full experience....cookies, candy and some after dinner liqueurs that we have for our guests... More

I love this inn! It's got all of the charm in the world and lots of ways to spend the time (random games and sitting rooms). The breakfast was beyond amazingly delicious -- we could barely walk out of there after stuffing ourselves. The bathroom was spacious and had yummy smelling soaps. There was even complimentary sherry in a decanter... More

My wife and I have enjoyed visiting here once a year for the past six years. It is always a quiet, relaxing experience. The innkeeper, Marsha, is none intrusive, but pays careful attention to the appointment of each room and to creating a delicious breakfast.

Thank you for giving us a review. It's great to get feedback. We are so happy to see you each year. It is the best compliment to have guests return again and again. It's nice also because we get to know you. Seventy five percent of our business comes from guests that have been here before. Sometimes they even check... More
