Always love coming to Louisville and staying at The Inn at Woodhaven. This B&B is far and above any others in the area. Marsha Burton and the rest of the staff go out of their way to make you feel like family. Marsha is a tremendous cook!! The rooms are excellent and inviting. Located close enough to all the city... Thank you for taking time to give our little in a review. And thank you for the great compliments! The staff and I are so happy that you enjoyed staying with us and hope you come back soon! We try to keep everything fresh in our rooms with new linens and décor. And I am always adding new items to... More

We stay here two nights while traveling the Bourbon Trail. It is a lovely old house that has been restored beautifully. A little too fussy for my taste, but it seems in line with the atmosphere that was being created. I stayed in the Main Suite, which was enormous. Huge bed with a sitting room (with another twin sized bed/daybed).... More

Thank you for the review of our little inn. The Master Suite is one of my favorite rooms. It is very spacious and the sitting room with the daybed is great for napping or reading. The balcony is just for this room and nice in the mornings or when it is not too hot! The shower in the Master Suite... More

The Inn at Woodhaven is a special place. We stayed in the Attic Suite which was beautiful. A steep climb, but worth it. It is a 3 room suite with sleeping accommodations for 5. The decor is wonderful and the room has a steam shower! My sister and her husband stayed in the Rose Cottage which was a separate octagonal... More

Thank you for taking the time to review the Inn. We are glad you enjoyed your stay in the Attic Suite. We have 14 foot ceilings on the first and second floor so that makes from more steps to the third floor Attic Suite. I just tell the guests to take their time and think of it as a stair... More

I am not usually a B&B type person but this look like a nice place and it is. Everything is covered for your enjoyment (if not just ask). The breakfast is worth the price of the stay. The floors squeak everywhere but that was to be expected. The unique upgrades in everything else was not. Parking is not the best... More

Thank you for the great compliment on our breakfast! I love to fix breakfast foods...thank goodness as I do it every day of the year! We do have squeaky floors especially on the first floor of the Main House. Thankfully, you don't hear it when you are in your room! I sure wish I had a little more room for... More

I was in awe from the moment I stepped into this B&B: from the 14 foot ceilings & the ornate woodwork to the luxuriously plush beds, I was in heaven. This place has old world southern charm around every corner, I couldn't help feeling like I had stepped into a Jane Austin novel, with a little more southern drawl. Marsha... More

Thank you for the fabulous review of our little inn! I have been making that caramel French toast every day for almost 22 years! And if is so popular I have the recipe printed up for guests to take home. It is great for family gatherings because you prepare it the night before and bake just before you serve it.... More

There are so many things to rave about this b&b that I don't even know how to begin so I'll just make a list. The main house: Gorgeous and stately. Some kind of Gothic (don't know much about architecture) with like 10ft high windows and doors. The room: Stayed in the Cupola room in the carriage house. Exquisite and private... More

Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to write a review. We are so happy that you enjoyed you stay in our Cupola Room. It is in our Carriage House which was built in 1853 along with the Main House. While it is our smallest room it is still very comfortable. Both the Main House and the... More

We stayed in the attic suite in the main house and it was furnished and decorated beautifully. It was obviously recently updated with 2 flat screen TV s and a new Samsung microwave. However it retained it's Old Louisville charm, decor, and furnishings. The breakfast is absolutely scrumptious with a first and second course. (I highly recommend their freshly-baked croissants!)... Thank you for the great compliments on the Attic Suite and our inn. I love breakfast food ...you'd think I would be tired of cooking it after nearly 22 years but I still love it. I do offer some specials each day in addition to our menu selections...keeps me on my toes! Sorry about the squeaky full bed. It is... More

My visit was totally over the top, exceptional, I can not find enough words to describe the incredibe experience. I stayed in the Attic which was breathtaking. All of the rooms are more beautiful than the website displays. The food was so delicious (Martha is a fantastic cook), and the warm feeling you are given by Martha and her staff... More

Thank you for the great review of our inn and the Attic Suite. We are so glad that you liked out Attic Suite. It did turn out pretty nice. It even won the homebuilders award for best renovation. It is nice that this bed and breakfast is pet friendly. As most of the other reviews have pointed out the breakfast is wonderful and the home is beautiful. Thank you for your review. We are happy to have very well behaved dog guests visit the inn. The Derby Room and Rose Cottage are both dog friendly. I have been to Inn at Woodhaven many times over the past 18 years, but haven't been in a couple years. I felt compelled to write a review after reading several of the negative reviews on this site.
