We choose the Inn at the Park after reading online reviews and doing some additional research. The inn exceeded our highest expectations. Herb the owner and Cynthia the new Innkeeper were delightful, lovely people who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfasts superb. The Inn at the Park is a... More

Stopped at this beautiful bed and breakfast on our way back from Chicago! Only a one night stay but managed a visit to the louisville bat factory, churchhill downs and dinner overlooking the river. Breakfast at the inn was great and enjoyed learning about the inn from Jenny. The inn was beautifully furnished and well equipped with everything needed. If... More

Highly recommend this beautiful home. We've never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast before, and were anxious to do so. We really enjoyed having the beautiful rooms and house at our disposal. We sat on the deck in the evening and enjoyed a drink. We visited a couple bourbon distilleries and the Louisville Slugger Museum. The peach french toast was... More

My wife and I love are Louisville natives and we were looking for a quaint place to stay for our ten year wedding anniversary. Our visit to the Inn was nearly perfect. The innkeeper was off for the day, so we were served by the owner, Herb Warren. Herb was a gracious host, and very knowledgable about he history of... More

Steeped in Gilded Age history, this beautiful mansion is gorgeously furnished, and perfectly situated across from the park (Shakespeare performances every evening!!). Southern hospitality at its best -- creative cuisine -- fresh fruit, hot breakfasts, kept me going all day. The owners are wonderfully gracious, and all the staff helpful, warm, and friendly. I'll be back.

Great hospitality and amazing food. I was pleasantly surprised of the character of this place and the attention to detail. I loved the experience and only a 15 minute walk to 4th street live or restaurants. I will be back and I fully recommend to anyone interested in a b&b.

When I knew that we would be spending a night in Louisville on July 18th, I began looking for a nice B&B for my wife and me. The Inn at the Park is in a historic neighborhood near downtown known as "Old Louisville," and it sounded like a neat old mansion. The mansion and the house next door almost suffered... More

We had 3 couples traveling the Bourbon Trail and stayed at the Inn at the Park in old Louisville. We were fortunate to be able to book all 3 rooms in the carriage house. Lovely B&B and a decanter of wine with brownies were awaiting us. We loved having the entire carriage house. It had a full kitchen, if we... More

We booked two rooms and both were spacious and clean. We really appreciated the high quality furnishings with lots of drawers and storage space so we didn't have to live out of the suitcase. The porch was quiet and relaxing allowing us to enjoy the outdoors and spend time together with family. Our hostess was friendly, inviting, and made us... More

Our stay at this B&B allowed us to experience the graciousness of an era gone by. Our host made our visit there both comfortable and educational. When arriving in the afternoon, the option to sip an aged bourbon or enjoy a glass of wine in the parlor is enjoyed as an unexpected treat. The breakfast is prepared with flavors of... More
