I stayed at the Bashford Manor B & B and it was a great place to be. The owners were great. Breakfast was very good. The bed was comfortable and the other amenities were very good. I loved being in a nice old home that was updated and had all the modern conveniences. I was there on business during a... More

I have worked in several B&B's and stayed in more than I can remember. I can honestly say that Bashford Manor is one of the best. We stayed there for 2 nights with our 4 year old daughter while attending a family wedding in Louisville. Cynthia was very accommodating and helpful with our dietary requirements. Its a perfect location for... More

I stayed at the Bashford Manor Inn for my most favorite of event weekends of the year, the Hot Air Balloon race... and I loved it! This historical homestead is beyond my expectations , yet so down to earth. I felt that I was at home immediately. Very clean, rooms, beautiful interior walls and an amazing large veranda to sit... Nearby Bardstown Road is fun & funky ~ A "must see" for any visitor to Louisville. Spaciousness of the room was refreshing and a rare treat ~ Oodles of aromatic soaps, lotions and shampoos ~ Big, fluffy towels ~ and chocolate! The Manor's porches a lovely respite at any time of the day. The grounds and surrounding neighborhood a peaceful,... More

The main house is over 200 years old and incredibly neat just to walk around. The bedrooms are large and luxurious with all the amenities you could want (wireless internet, cable, in room bathroom, mini-kitchen, etc.). The hostess, Cynthia, is very knowledgeable about the history of the house and the city of Louisville and is always ready to meet any... More

The Bashford Manor Inn is one of Louisville's best kept secrets. The Inn is conveniently located in Louisville, Kentucky, with highway access just minutes away.. Bashford Manor has a rich history dating back to the Civil War, a very attentive InnKeeper, with well appointed rooms, and a steaming hot prepared to order breakfast all at an affordable rate. 5 thumbs... I visited Louisville to decide if I wanted to move to the area from NY and I stayed at Bashford Manor for a week. Cynthia has kept the historical integrity of the manor intact and at the same time, there is true and thoughtful 21st century comfort. No small feat. Bashford Manor is a classy, lovely, first class B&B with... More

About a 10 minute drive from the airport to the best bed and breakfast around Louisville. I was introduced to southern hospitality at its very best. A beautiful historic mansion restored to its original beauty with all the modern amenities. Clean, lots of towels, private, organic foods, custom soaps, custom chocolates, great price, in a private neighborhood, shops and restaurants... More

I have stayed in all the top hotels in Louisville, as well as a few of the B&Bs. Bashford Manor outshines them all. Cynthia Cooke has done a marvelous job of converting this grand manor house into a comfortable, well-appointed, spotless inn. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfy and cozy. I stayed for a week in the East... More
