We have stayed at the Tucker House Bed and Breakfast three times in three of their four rooms the past 6 months and highly recommend it; all three rooms were very nice. The hosts are both delightful, the experience begins with Steve greeting you at your car to assist you with your luggage. The home is delicately appointed consistent with... More

We had the opportunity to stay at the Tucker House during the PGA Championship 2014. It was a wonderful stay. Steve and Devona are simply the best. Down home hospitality and true professionals. The house is meticulously resorted and beautifully decorated. It has all the old charms and all the modern conveniences. The B & B is spotless and oh... More

My wife and I have been lucky enough to stay here several times. Devonna and Steve always make you feel at home and Devonna is a great cook. Ask for the waffles made with oatmeal and corn meal!! The other guests are always very nice and the house has a wonderful selection of outdoor seating with WiFi.

I have been to numerous bed and breakfasts and believe Tucker House may be my favorite. Steve and Devonna were very nice and put us in a different room upon our arrival so my son and I would have a bigger bed. The house and property were beautiful with many antiques and the surrounding grounds were also gorgeous. The inground... More

The people were extremely friendly, kind and took care of us well. They were very flexible - they accommodated every request of ours. This place has amazing history, including slave graves, and a beautiful setting. Great place overall!

A group of guy friends got together for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the Tucker House. Some bed and breakfasts can be too Victorian (girly) for me but this one is not and is very historic. We were also looking for a rural setting and this place is the perfect balance of being 15 minutes from downtown Louisville, but somehow... More

Since we came from Virginia it was such a wonderful surprize to find a colonial style B&B in Louisville. This is a beautiful house full of antiques to go with the 1775 era portrayed in Williamsburg, VA. Devona and Steve were congenial hosts and the room we had was spacious with a great firm bed. The garden was a plus... More

My husband and I chose this Bed and Breakfast for our 4th anniversary and were not disappointed. The house is beautiful, with a perfect mix of old and new. The innkeepers were very hospitable, but not at all overbearing. Breakfast was delicious and very filling! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Our only complaint was that we had to leave!

Last week I had the pleasure of staying at the 1840 House while visiting distilleries with my high school friend and her daughter. They were from San Diego and I wanted to make sure we stayed at someplace special. The 1840 Tucker House was that and more! I can't say enough about how beautifully maintained the house is, including stunning... More

We stayed here back in 2006 and loved our experience. We stayed here in May and found it just as wonderful as we had previously. The location is a little ways from Louisville, but it is convenient to Interstate access and downtown was an easy drive. The breakfasts are out of this world. I don't know how the owners stay...
