My husband and I had the most fabulous experience at The Tucker House. The moment we walked in the door we were greeted with open arms and loving smiles. Devona & Steve treated us like family! Their home is beautiful and comfortable. The rooms are immaculate! The food was absolutely gourmet cooking at its best! Beautiful quiet retreat with picture... More

My husband lives for pancakes; Devona and Steve were amazing cooks and hosts--best breakfasts ever. The property is so well cared for--clean inside, manicured outside with many birdfeeders. The sunroom is such a pleasant place to sit; the location overall is outside Louisville, which means it's very quiet, although you'll have to drive everywhere. We will come back! The furniture... The house is old and in excellent condition. Very comfortable with a great breakfast on the patio. Some climbing of stairs required for our room. My wife and I loved it and will return when we get back to Louisville. For us, this makes a great little stopping place between Saint Louis and Columbus, Ohio.

Taking the long way back to Maryland from a trip to Chicago to visit family, we stopped in Louisville for just one day. We had never stayed in a B&B, and the 1840's house looked intriguing from our internet research. Close to all that Louisville has to offer, but in a serene setting with gardens and old trees just off... More

Fantastic place to stay. I only wish I could have enjoyed another night! In Louisville for the Joyce Meyer Conference and had to move closer to the downtown area. Steve and Davonna were great. Room was spacious and bright. The breakfast was awesome. Great pancakes, eggs and bacon. For those that love Bed and Breakfast over a hotel give the... More

This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast. We were in the area for a baseball tournament and the local hotels were completely booked. The B&B is in a convenient location just off the Bluegrass Parkway. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. They made us an amazing breakfast both days and made us homemade cookies for a... More

Lovely hosts and a beautiful B&B. We stayed in the Courting Room and loved it. The decorations were darling and everything was cute and kitschy. The breakfast was good and filling. They had warm grapefruit as the first course for breakfast, which I've never had before, and it might be my favorite thing now. :)

The 1840 Tucker House Bed and Breakfast is reason alone to go to Louisville. It is the most authentic, charming, delightful place to stay in all my experiences in B&Bs. We felt like we had stepped back in time. The hosts were warm and welcoming and breakfast was superb. We received great restaurant and sight-seeing suggestions. I can't wait to... More

I found the Tucker House thru TripAdvisor and it was as advertised and more. It was truly a home away from home. The house, room, and grounds were 1830s (just like our own home but much more elegant than ours). Devona's breakfasts were great. She remembered that I'm lactose intolerant and had soy milk. We were seated outside in a... More
