I've said it before, and I'll say it again....We don't like hotels...we like B&B's...and we LOVE historic house B&B's! The older, the better! We adore the ambiance and atmosphere, the character that can only be acquired through age. So if you are of similar mind, the Samuel Culbertson Mansion is the only place to consider staying in Louisville. The location... More

We booked our room several months ahead of time and specifically asked if there was somewhere off street where we could park our Harleys and were told it would be no problem. When we arrived we were told 'there's plenty of room on the street' and that was that. After that the innkeeper was no where to be seen til the... More

We had a very enjoyable stay at this fabulous B&B. Such a grand historic mansion superbly decorated with antiques, period light fixtures and collections tastefully displayed. Our suite was very spacious and provided for all our comforts in grand style. We enjoyed the relaxed family-style breakfasts at 9am and the opportunity to meet the other guests. We paid to tour... My granddaughter and I stayed in this charming B&B and loved every minute. It's beautiful and filled with breath taking antiques. Rudy and Jason made our stay even more enjoyable with their more than helpful advice on places to eat and activities. We love ghost hunting and Jason had books in our room on local haunts and activities for us!!!!

Can't say enough good things about this incredible Old Louisville Bed and Breakfast. Rudy and Jason were gracious, polite, professional hosts. Southern Hospitality at it's best! Breakfast was incredible! The house is very warm and inviting; filled to the brim with antiques. We would most definitely stay here again without a doubt.

We were visiting Louisville with 3 other couples and stayed at the Culbertson mansion B&B for 3 nights. The breakfasts were superb and the dining room setting was fabulous. OMG - that bourbon sauce on the fresh fruit is out of this world!! We loved to convene every evening for cocktails in the courtyard. The hospitality was unsurpassed. Rudy and... More

I cannot express how wonderful our stay at the mansion was. The food was out of this world and the hospitality could not have been better. My party stayed here for the Kentucky Derby weekend and it felt like we were living in the mansion, not just guests. The mansion is beautiful and we enjoyed lounging in the main rooms... More

Exquisite decor, great food and warmest of welcomes. We travelled to Louisville for Kentucky Derby weekend, but the highlight of the trip was staying at this beautiful mansion, well located and with loads of charm and atmosphere. The owner and his staff could not have been more gracious. Definitely a winner.

The Museum doesn't have a trip advisor review page so I'll put it on the Bed and Breakfast. Where to start...We were visiting Louisville for the day and finished hours before we thought we would so the suggestion was made to see what was in New Albany. I googled things to do and the Culbertson Bed and Breakfast came up... More

Thank you Rudy & Kevin. We had anticipated an evening out to see the town & taking in the Urban Bourbon Trail but decided to relax in the mansion instead. Rudy & Kevin were out tending to their own events, leaving us completely alone to explore this impressive home. The only rule: if a door is closed, then it's off-limits.... More
