I have always had positive experiences at Econolodge, but not here. We stayed overnight, and were very disappointed in the rooms. The man who checked us in was quite nice, but the owner who checked us out the next day was rude and would not work with us. My mom's complaints, altough polite, still met a deaf ear. We called to verify that the rooms were non-smoking two weeks ahead of time. My parents' room was not. The rooms are in dire need of an update, and it did not feel clean. The room I had with my two small children did not have a tub; it only had a shower, which is not good for bathing a 5 year-old or a 16 month-old. Of course, they were booked solid due to an archery convention, so there were no other options.

The breakfast area had a total of three tables. We had 6 people in our group, and there was no place to sit. (The food did not look that great anyway.) We finally ended up checking out and heading to the Cracker Barrel. In short, stay away and go... more
