Really a very attractive and nice small hotel. The room we had had a comfortable sitting area with TV separate from the bedroom. Nice touch! Both rooms were attractively furnished. I would have liked more counter space on the bathroom vanity, however, and also a mirror outside of the bathroom as well as in it. The bed was incredibly comfortable.... More

Though I have heard stories of Gratz Park being haunted, and have on occasion heard some questionable creaks and ghostly screaming right next to my ear in the dark of the night, I have also always experience top-notch service here! I just recently moved from Lexington, but during my 8 years there, my parents often stayed at the Gratz Park... More

My husband and I have stayed here twice a year for over 20 years. The reason we come back over and over is the location in the heart of Lexington and the old fashioned charm of this hotel. No it is not modern. Not it is not trendy and chic. But it is comfortable and quirky. They have updated the... More

Went to Lexington on business and stayed 2 nights at the Gratz. The beds were incredible - I know they had a specific label on them that I've forgotten but it was a Tempra-Pedic type mattress - SOOO comfortable! The Bourbon bar and restaurant were both excellent! Great hotel with history!

We stayed at the Gratz Park Inn for 3 days in March 2015. The hotel was acceptable and clean, but the heating system was so loud kicking on and off all night. Not a good thing. The common areas could have been amazing. They had a fireplace (never on) 22 to 40 degrees outside so it could have been on... More

wonderful property in downtown Lexington. Walking distance to bars and resturants. Rooms were very nice, bathrooms a little worn and our mattress a little hard but everything else was top notch. Friendly staff and check in. loved the Distilled resturant and bar on property, walked all over down town but came back to the inn for dinner and drinks and... More

The hotel was very quaint. Had a charming historic feel. Room and bed accommodations very comfortable. We received an unsolicited upgrade which was very gracious. The best part was the hotel and restaurant staff. Very personable and caring.

The location of this inn is excellent and just what we needed for exploring downtown Lexington before jumping off onto the Bourbon Trail. There are numerous bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. We had planned to visit the Farmer's Market just around the corner, but instead found a St. Patrick's street festival going on that was a lot of... More

Bed was hard to my liking. Probably memory foam. Room was unexceptional and the wi-fi was really bad. The front desk was very helpful and courteous. Parking was tight. The neighborhood was totally unremarkable. This could be a good pick if you don't need wi-fi and the price were right.
