My husband and I stayed at the Springhill over the 4th of July to attend a family cookout. We found the staff both cheerful and helpful. Our room was spotless and had a wonderful veiw of RedMile racetrack. I am SO surprised to hear that another traveler had such issues with ants. I also stayed on the 4th floor and... more

I stayed for one night in June with my daughter while taking her to college in Bloomington, IN. I chose the SpringHill Suites based upon the positive reviews here, and it was the right choice. Comfy room with sitting area and mini-kitchen, very friendly staff, fast check-in and departure, and a nice breakfast (although I agree with the other comment... more

Spent three nights here in early June. Very pleasant room, decent breakfast. The front deesk people were especially helpful They gave directions recommended restaurants and booked a horse country tour. Area was quiet and convient to any one with a car. At their recomendation we ate at Ramsey's Diner. Outstanding local food. Order an Ale-8 with dinner an excellent local... more

Spent just one night here on my way to West Virginia. All-around nice hotel. Had a room with a view of the "Red Mile" but view is obscured by trees. Buffet breakfast was tasty (except for the rubbery "scrambled egg patty"). Not very close to the I-64 expressway, but I find that is a real plus given the quietness of... more

I spend 30% of my nights in hotels and stay at a lot of Marriott properties. This was my first time at a Springhill Suite. I try an rate places within the context of the category of service expected. In this case, I thought this hotel exceeded the level of service and quality I expected. Parking, breakfast and internet (wired... more

I used this for business for a few weeks. I stayed in five five different rooms and thought there was very good consistency. There are better locations in the city (it is a few minutes from downtown and about ten minutes from New Circle Drive) but I liked the Springhill Suites enough to return each week. There is a free... more

This is not really a suite as the sitting area is not separated from the bedroom. There is not a separate closet and the room is very sterile looking. Also the hot tub did not work and that was one reason we booked the hotel. Stay at the Hilton Green Suites instead for a much better night in Lexington. more

The hotel was absolutely GREAT!!! My daughter, mom and me really enjoyed our stay in Lexington. We were visiting Univ. of KY and needed someplace close, comfortable and affordable. This hotel fit the bill totally. The beds were very comfortable. I don't know what they use, but the sheets and all the pillows made it feel better than home. Even... more

This was a very good place to stay. We stayed for 2 nights in June when we were in Lexington to visit the Kentucky Horse Farm (15 minute drive from the hotel). Staying here gave us a great feel for the downtown area of Lexington, which we loved. It was located next to the Red Mile race track. So, definately... more
