Beautiful old home located downtown and next to lovely street with old historic homes of the period. Close walk or drive to restaurants. The Bella Brezing room was large and lovely with up-to-date bathroom. Enjoyed reading the story of Miss Belle Brezing which was provided in the room. Breakfast was delicious and included a variety of options. Anton was gracious.... More

The Keeneland Room was a large, attractive room with a very comfortable bed. I enjoyed the delicious breakfast. My bathroom was across the hall, updated, and very clean and nice. The bathroom door had a brass plate to clearly indicate that the Keeneland bath was assigned to my room. However, I realized that I should keep the bathroom locked because... More

Four of us stayed here on Monday. This is a very charming place. The owner has spent a lot of time and money bringing an historic house back to glory. The attention to detail was superb. Location in Lexington is excellent. The breakfast was outstanding - french toast, fruit, cereal, bacon, breads etc. The owner, John, is a former hospitality... More

Stayed in the Headley room for the last two nights. The room is huge, with an immensely comfortable bed, reading chairs, and plenty of light to read by. Food is very good, but not exceptional. There is an elevator, but you have to carry your luggage up 12 or so concrete steps to enter the building. Parking can be difficult... More

For our first visit to Lexington, and based on the very favorable reviews, we decided on the Lyndon House. Great choice! Our host, Anton, is a very engaging conversationalist – and he makes a great breakfast to boot! Lyndon House sits amongst a number of beautiful houses and is just lovely inside. All the modern conveniences and yet all the... More

Stayed for the first time at Lyndon House. Very comfortable in Belle Brezing room. Enjoyed reading a little from the book on the nightstand about the lady the room named after. Anton is a gracious host. Pleasant to talk to. He directed us to a little local but hopping brewery and across the street smoked meat place for dinner and... More

The guest accommodations are without issue and vary from suite to a simple room. Ample window for breakfast (8-10am) and there are continental (fruit & pastries), baked (meat or vegetarian) or eggs-anyway-you-like choices. Anton is a great host. We chose the Rommance package thru their site and the dinenr at Jonathan's was outstanding. The location is convenient – near the... More

This was our first visit to Lyndon House and we had a very nice stay. We were greeted and checked in with little to do and the owner personally saw to it that our room had been prepared as needed. He even provided an extension cord to help charge our various electronics. We stayed in the Belle Brezing room and... More

My husband and I recently visited Lexington and stayed at the Lyndon House in the Eaves room. A very nice place and a wonderful location with close proximity to downtown and many fun restaurants. Anton was a great host and prepared a wonderful breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to the Lyndon House!

First of all the stay was simply amazing. We had never stayed a B&B and needed a local place to go for our anniversary. This was our pick! We got the Romance Package and were given the Bluegrass Suite for our stay. Everything was top notch. The building is absolutely stunning & well cared for. Breakfast was AMAZING & Anton... More
