My family and I had a great time at this hotel! The staff was wonderfull and the rooms were nice and spacious. The hotel is beginning to go through a renovation (posters everywhere) but, as far as I could tell from my stay it did not effect our stay. Overall wonderfull experience and would go back there whenever in Lexington. more

I used to stay at this hotel when I was in town for work, back when it was the Sheraton Suites. It was nice back then. I remember the beds being super comfy and the suite feeling very homey. The hotels has not aged well and Hilton bought it and made it a Doubletree. They have signs about pending renovation,... more

Management response from

I am sorry for your experience at the Hotel. I came as the General manager In December 2008 and while I did see some the the items mentioned I feel the need to say that since January 2008 all rooms are 100 percent renovated. After a 6 million dollar restoration that is bneing completed the hotel is now nothing like...

This Doubletree has great potential. The lobby and central area are really open and spectacular. The hotel is going through a renovation process that is overdue. Our 1st room had an A/C unit that was broken. There was evidence of deferred maintenace in many places. There are signs up in various places that tell you the hotel is going through... more

We traveled to Lexington for a wedding. The Doubltree Hotel itself is quite nice and has a lovely lobby. The hotel recently changed from a Sheraton hotel to the Doubletree. It was obvious the personnel at the front desk were new. The girl had trouble finding our reservation and was slow getting us checked in. A day later this same... more

This hotel is undergoing a face lift. Most of the inside is finished but they are working on the entrance and it's pretty messy. Other than that it was a very nice place to stay with our pet. The staff was extremely friendly, especially the manager and front desk people. The room was large and clean. The age of the... more

My family stayed here 1 year ago and we really liked the hotel. Great room service, they lets us have our dog in the room, and there is a Panera just down the street. This summer we spent one night here and had a very bad experience. The hotel is under new ownership. - we had booked a suite and... more

Stayed two nights, Aug 17-19, at this location. Great rate via Hotwire (Total for both nights with taxes/fees was just under $152). All staff we encountered were very friendly, helpful, and professional. They really seemed to enjoy working there and it showed. Yummy chocolate-walnut cookies at check-in, served warm (even scored an extra cookie by asking very nicely and admitting... more

Hotel is now a Doubletree Suites. I had booked our group of 12 rooms thru group sales. All rooms were supposed to be 2 doubles with a pull out sofa bed in the living room portion. Most of us got the rooms we booked and the ones that didn't were moved the next afternoon after some urging to the front... more
