Stayed here last year at the "beginning" of a restoration. It hasn't gotten better. As noted, the lobby is a disaster area. I felt sorry of the night attendant. One of the two sliding glass doors would not close. As people entered the lobby a blast of cold air follwed them in. Katrina was obviously uncomfortable but had a bright... More

I went to this hotel for a get together of friends. The hotel was doing a renovation so hopefully things have changed by now. Our room had a large water stain that made me not want to walk in the room in bare feet. The lobby was torn apart because they were putting down new tile and we had a... More

Obviously undergoing renovations as most of the entrance is missing and it smells of propane or kerosene. Room was far away, cold, but boy did that heater work. By work I mean it rattled so loud it sounded like a hailstorm pounding the window. But only after you start falling asleep! How do they do that? Bathroom door hard to... More

If you come to this hotel expecting a Four Points experience and not one that you would receive at a full service hotel, you will not be disappointed. The hotel is defintely under renovation (and according to the comments has been for some time). I was assigned a renovated room on the third floor and was very happy. Again, I... More

Being the quiet time of year for hotels, at least in the the cooler climates, this hotel is in the midst of a major renovation. The lobby was stripped down to nothing but concrete, metal, electrical cord and sheet rock. The front desk is served by a folding table. Due to the construction, it is difficult to judge the public... More

We got a deal on Priceline and was happy about the location. Straight shot to our Georgetown friends and into downtown. Our excitement was short lived. We were ok with the front desk being nothing more than a table since its under renovation. But good grief! Our first room on the 2nd floor was iffy. King size and they gave... More

I was here at the end of October/2014 for four nights. The property was still undergoing major renovation, but the pool, the workout room, restaurant, and one section of the hotel were done. I used the workout room and it was great; they kept the room cool for a comfortable run. I had one of updated room and met my... More

This hotel has always had outstanding staff, but suffered from old rooms in desperate need of a refresh. On my last trip I was very pleased to see that some of the rooms have finally been completed, and even more pleased to have stayed in one. The new rooms are clean and much more in line with what one would... More

Rooms and remainder of hotel are being updated. Clean but lacks amenities. No microwave or fridge, also no premium TV channels. Otherwise there is a very good restaurant and bar. No free breakfast so get ready to pay $10 to eat in the hotel.
