Snug Hollow Farm is Definitely a Retreat type setting. It is in a rural part of Kentucky at the base of some hills. There is a looooong gravel road (with pot holes) that is windy and hilly that will take you to the cabins that are offered and the main farmhouse. There are 3 cabins for rent. One brand new... More

Our recent stay at Snug Hollow B&B with friends from Louisville and Chicago was nothing short of delightful! The charming property nestled into the mountains reminded me of my childhood in WV. Barb greeted us like relatives come home from the city and made us feel as comfortable and welcome as family. She is an amazing cook and, along with... More

I have stayed at Snug Hollow several times and each time is just as delightful. It is the place I go to escape from the noise and tension of my daily routine. Barbara, the Innkeeper, is such a treasure....talented, entertaining and an amazing cook and hostess. If you have never visited you really need to make it a must. Words... More

My good friend and I spent 2 nights at Snug Hollow earlier this month. It was the perfect place to relax and catch up with each other. I live in Texas and my friend in Lexington. We wanted someplace that would give me a real feel for Kentucky people and scenery and Snug Hollow did just that! We were in... More

My wife and I just spent a wonderful weekend at the Snug Hollow BnB. We had high expectations before arriving and our stay easily exceeded those. The farm and house were beautiful. We stayed in the house and it was great. Barb, the owner, made you feel right at home and was a blast to talk with. Nevermind, a fantastic... More

After a dear friend was diagnosed with cancer, we spent a glorious weekend at Snug Hollow Bed & Breakfast. The beautiful home was quiet and calming. We could spend time chatting, reading through the numerous books and magazines, and sharing the quiet with a good friend. As we walked around the 300 acres, we could see the old cemetary, the... My wife and I have been to Snug Hollow 4 or 5 times. It's where I proposed to her because it is scenic, romantic, unique and because Barbara, the proprietor is so delightful. The food is outstanding. Yes, it is off the beaten path...as advertised. Part of the beauty and adventure is driving down a gravel road that takes you... More

I stayed in the cabin for a girls weekend. This is the place to go to recharge, to get in touch with nature. The farm is unspoiled and so quiet you can hear the birds chirp. It is the kind of place so unique and authentic, they could film a movie set in the 1950s. The innkeeper, Barbara Napier, and... More

We stayed at Snug Hollow for one night in mid-September. Although the location is peaceful and the cabins cozy, we left feeling quite deceived by the dishonest innkeeper. On the phone initially, the owner Barbara made it sound like everything was completely sold out but that there was one last minute cancellation we could take. When she told us that... More
