After a dear friend was diagnosed with cancer, we spent a glorious weekend at Snug Hollow Bed & Breakfast. The beautiful home was quiet and calming. We could spend time chatting, reading through the numerous books and magazines, and sharing the quiet with a good friend. As we walked around the 300 acres, we could see the old cemetary, the... My wife and I have been to Snug Hollow 4 or 5 times. It's where I proposed to her because it is scenic, romantic, unique and because Barbara, the proprietor is so delightful. The food is outstanding. Yes, it is off the beaten path...as advertised. Part of the beauty and adventure is driving down a gravel road that takes you... More

I stayed in the cabin for a girls weekend. This is the place to go to recharge, to get in touch with nature. The farm is unspoiled and so quiet you can hear the birds chirp. It is the kind of place so unique and authentic, they could film a movie set in the 1950s. The innkeeper, Barbara Napier, and... More

We stayed at Snug Hollow for one night in mid-September. Although the location is peaceful and the cabins cozy, we left feeling quite deceived by the dishonest innkeeper. On the phone initially, the owner Barbara made it sound like everything was completely sold out but that there was one last minute cancellation we could take. When she told us that... More

If you're looking for a place to "get away from it all" you have come to the right place. The scenery is spectacular, from the rolling meadows and hills, to the pond and the old outbuildings that still occupy the farm. The main house is so inviting. It seems to wrap around you like a warm blanket. The hiking trails... More

The Snug Hollow was a great location and very peaceful. We went for our anniversary. The company and food was great. You could make a fire in the pit outside, there were games to play, and plenty of space. The issues we had were #1 - we specifically rented a room with a jacuzzi as I have a muscle injury.... More

The world simply melted away the very moment we turned onto the winding little gravel road leading us further away from civilization and deeper into the tranquil surroundings of the breathtaking, unspoilt countryside at Snug Hollow. We arrived to a warm welcome and were given a tour of the historic 'Cosy Cabin" and main house but were not shown around... More

My mom, her cousin and myself stayed at Snug Hollow in a 130 year old log cabin named "Cozy" on 300 acres of beautiful property full of flowering wild flowers. When we drove in, on their long and narrow winding road I wasn't sure what we had gotten into but when we arrived the place is so peaceful and lovely.... More

I've been coming to Snug Hollow for about 10 years now. I've been there through different hills and valleys in my life and arriving in the "holler" has always given me that feeling of comfort and security of home. My wife and I go there every year for our anniversary because we love every inch of the beauty and attractiveness... More
