My wife and I have stayed twice and each time it was a memorable and relaxing experience, thanks to the care and warmth of innkeeper Barbara. I look forward to returning and adding to my memories of relaxation in this charming locale.

Being at Snug Hollow Farm B&B is like going home again. From comfortable rooms and cottages to the great 350 acres outside your door, for you to explore, it is an amazing stay full of wonderment. I love the peace you will find there. And I admire Barbara Napier, owner and grand hostess, who will ensure that your stay is... More

My wife found this listing and were excited to take a few days during her Christmas break to stay in the hills of KY (we LOVE Kentucky!) After some potential flooding problems at home were resolved, we set out for Louisville to break up the long drive and to dine at one of Edward Lee's excellent Louisville restaurants. Done, and... So sorry your visit wasn’t what you were looking for. We work very hard at Snug Hollow to make everyone’s stay wonderful, as evidenced by our overwhelming number of great reviews, but we understand that our homey, inclusive atmosphere is not for everyone. There are many #1 B&B’s in Kentucky, and hopefully you will give one a try that is... More

Relaxing environment and good food. Vegetarian but filling and delicious, no issues for this meat eater to enjoy the good vegetarian fair. Will return on special occasion. Give yourself time to enjoy the surroundings if you only go for food, If you go to stay overnight, relax and slow down, you'll feel right at home. Barb is a perfect hostess... More

Clean, Warm, Comfy, Welcomeing, Tasty, and Beautiful are the ways i'd describe the experiences at snug hollow. Will definitely be coming back. Its a bed and breakfast nestled between the mountains. There are trails. Its truly a amazing experience. Recommend it to everyone. You would rarely find more guinuine and kind people anywhere else.

Our second stay in the cabin by the creek was just as good as the first. It was hard to leave it's warmth, comfort, and charm. Autumn colors were in full swing and a friendly chipmunk kept us company. Dinner was abundant and delicious, as was breakfast and Barbara's Butterscotch Pie. She and her staff have a knack for making... More

My stay was pretty amazing. I was up at 5am every morning, cup of coffee in a handmade stone mug, sitting in a rocker on the back porch of the cabin which was nestled at the foot of a mountain, to watch the sunrise behind it. The sun lit up the ridge-line like the trees were on fire. I went... More

The story of Snug Hollow has been written over the years with equal parts American resilience, Appalachian resourcefulness, Kentucky tradition and genuine Southern Hospitality. Snug hollow was more than we imagined. It was our honeymoon and we could not have chosen a better place. We rented the cabin by the stream which was beautiful with a rustic feel. Meals were... More

What a great place, good food, beautiful surroundings, fun road, fun for kids. The main house was neat as was the cabin. Host and her staff are great and really care about what they do. No phone reception which was a relief. Only regret was we wish we could have explored more of the woods in our limited time there.

What can you say.....beautiful scenery, wonderful cabin, comfy beds, yummy food, great hosts, relaxation to the utmost. This was my second stay and I believe it surpassed the first. A perfect spot for a sister trip. Barbara could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Our meals were so good and it was so nice to spend one with Barbara... More
