Had such a pleasant experience in the past that I planned my route from Birmingham to Chicago to stay at this same Hampton Inn. Checked in at 3:00 AM. and still found that the staff was cheerful and accommodating!

PERFECT STAFF so nice and accomodating Would stay again any time. They handled each request as if I were family. This is the greatest place to stay for the Derby without costing an arm and a leg!! I saved so much money by staying here instead of Louisville - close enough, but yet far enough away.

The hotel overall provided very nice accommodations. It was easy to access right off the highway. There is a pretty scenic drive to Mammoth Caves National Park. The only downfall was that there was only select fast food close to the hotel. However, a short drive away provided more options.

Would probably give it 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. Pros: 1) Friendly staff. 2) Probably the best place to stay near Mammoth Caves. Major Con: 1) So close to the freeway that you can hear the traffic at night.

The staff was very pleasant, the rooms were typical for Hampton, BUT I didn't think their pillows were Hampton quality. The breakfast was good. It was nothing exceptional, but we had a good night's stay.

I was very pleased with my stay in Horsecave. I would stay again when I am in town for business. The staff was very welcoming and provided everything including directions to nearby restaurants and directions the DART plant in town. Checkout was a very smooth process and the rooms were very spacious and clean

Hotel was filthy with dirty floors, bad spreads. Staff was very noisy slamming cabinets during breakfast at 5 a.m. which kept us up. Heating/air made terrible rattling noise. It was spring break, so no rooms available. I have always had excellent experience at Hampton Inn, but not here. This place should have been called Ramada.

Nice staff and well done by the people who run the hotel, I arrived early and they found my room no problem. Construction along the highway could be a problem for most. I would stay here again as the price is right.
