A brilliant little place set in stunning surroundings. The staff and locals are great craic and the breakfasts are awesome. The room was very nice, had all we needed and more importantly was very clean and tidy. The next time we are in the area I'll definitely be staying here.

This was a return visit , and we had booked during our last stay, phoned enroute to let them know what time we would be arriving , to be told that although they knew of our booking , they had given the room away , to guests that were staying longer! Caused us a 10 hour round trip and wasted... More

We stayed here on a stopover to the Highlands . The room was light, bright and airy with a lovely view of the river. We were just in time for a bite to eat as well. The food was excellent as was the company. The locals made us feel very welcome and we even had Percy th peacock give us... More

Couldn't fault the place. As a random 1 night pass through enjoyed a warm welcome with good food, good couple of pints of Guinness and a friendly atmosphere among tourists and locals. Good clean room and felt safe leaving my vehicle in the car park

We just had one night at the Carronbridge Hotel this weekend. The staff were very welcoming at check in gave us pointers on thing to do and places to see. We join them in the bar in front of a toasty coal fire, that evening with our dog for a few drinks and made to feel quite at home. The... More

We did not actually stay at this 'hotel', but were out for a drive on a Sunday afternoon, so thought that we would pop in for a refreshment on the way home. There is a sign on the door saying that dogs are welcome. We had a party of 5 adults, 2 young children and out two small dogs. The... More

As the owner of carronbridge hotel,I feel I must respond, firstly by saying that my staff are told to inform people NOT to take their dogs on the grass at the back of the hotel as a matter of health and safety for the children who play there . I do believe you also were informed of a gate which... More

Stayed for one night here and certainly would not have stayed longer. On entering the hotel I was greeted by a pleasant lady but a more overpowering welcome was the odd smell. I was shown upstairs to a small single room via a stair case where the light wasn't working. My room was very clean and freshly decorated but was... More

I am so upset by your comments especially as I am at this moment upgrading all the rooms and decorating them, hence the ,funny smell, for which I apologise . Our location dictates facilities, rural setting means we are on spring water not mains hence all the showers will not run at the same time , still I noticed two... More

Stayed for one night as we were on our way up to Banff for the week, so we broke the journey half way.. Arrived around 8.30pm, asked could we get dinner etc, told that everyone had gone now and we were to late, hubby had to go out and locate a take away, room was cold initially, so we plugged... More
