Arrived in 38 degree heat to find a large well appointed room with marvellous views over the gulf and jetty. However the downside was that the sun also comes from that direction. The ageing air-conditioner had no hope coping, in fact it was not until 10:00pm it started making any appreciable difference. The windows did not open, which would have... More

Room was massive with a small uncomfortable bed in it, the window was cracked, service at reception took around 20 minutes.. I had to ring the landline for someone to come out (yes, I rang the bell at reception) and the room smelt closed up. Views were great, service let it down.

Pinnacle of our holiday. One of the loveliest bars we have ever sat in. Beautiful Sunset viewing, drinks, brilliant service, great food, ocean views, great music. Thank you Daniella, that was sensational! #carltondraughtontap #awesome

Booked and paid for a ocean view room and get given room 6 with no actual ocean view unless you press your face against the window and look right. Was refunded and left with no apology just told that I was wrong and that is a ocean view because you can see the ocean if you walk outside. Not what... More

Stayed during the Yorke Peninsula Field Days so the room rates were obviously cranked up. If I am paying top dollar I do expect top service. During my stay the floor was never vacuumed. Bathroom shower and vanity also uncleaned. However there were fresh towels daily. One day the table was left as it was complete with soiled tea towel... More

Stayed at moonta bay seagate motel for the first time with family. Great rooms, nice friendly staff, with great beaches less than two minutes walk. One of the few times we have been beach front that has very reasonable rates. The bistro down stairs has such great seafood , pizza oven, steaks, gelato, licenced, nothing was too hard for them. The seagate has... More

Came to Moonta for an inpromptu visit and was very impressed with the Seagate. Very clean, freshly painted, well maintained and the restaurant downstairs for breakfast was excellent (be sure to order in the restaurant). Staff were friendly and keen to offer suggestions for local attractions and places to eat.

Chose this motel for a two day stop over based on the web page photos of the view. I was not disappointed. If anything, the room and views exceeded expectation. The rooms are spacious and we'll appointed with panoramic sea views. Laying in bed, and looking over the balcony to the sea gives the impression of being on a ship... More

Our little group of 7 family and friends spent a night in this lovely hotel on a very wet and wild night . Situated right on the shore line of the beautiful moonta bay the wind and rain lashed the hotel all night . The almost fully glass walls of the restaurant allowed for a spectacular show of natures fury... More
