Took my hubby for a 60th birthday getaway to the Kentucky Lake area and stayed at the Lighthouse Landing on our son's recommendation. Wow, was he right! We stayed in cottage S13. The view is beautiful and so relaxing. Spent a lot of time just sitting on the balcony and walking the grounds. That said, the location is great too.... More

My hubby and I stayed in cottage 4 for our 7th year wedding anniversary. The cottage was spacious and we really enjoyed our stay. We would stay there again. Kitchen was stocked with dishes and pans. Just remember to take a hair dryer if you use one.

We stayed for 3 days , had a great view of the lake. Great environment. We took a sailboat lesson for 4 hours and it was a great experience. Small private beach for those staying but rocky, no sand. Would go back again for sure! Lots of things to do nearby.

We found this to be an excellent vacation spot! We rented a cottage for 7 days and loved every minute of it ! Great fishing ,sight seeing, restaurants !! We couldn't of asked for more!! The cottages are clean and very comfortable! The view From the deck overlooking Kentucky Lake was spectacular!!! We will definitely stay there again in the fall.

My husband and I accidentally found this gem while searching for a short, weekend getaway. We decided to take a chance with it and are so glad we did. The beauty of the lake and marina is breathtaking. Our cottage was 20 feet from the lake. We sat on the deck and enjoyed the peaceful beauty all around us. The... More

Lighthouse Landing was the most clean, most peaceful trip we have ever taken. There are lots of things to do around this area. We choose to stay in the cottage and take in the breath taking view of the river. There is nothing like waking up to this beautiful view of the river.

My husband and I stayed at the Lighthouse Landing 4 yrs in a row every fall until our dogs came to the age we couldn't board them. Our last stay was in 2010, at which the price per night was only $122.00. These cabins are self-contained, with everything you need (towels, blankets, dishes, glasses, coffee pot & coffee with sweetner... More

This was our first stay at this hotel and we were very pleased. We stayed in cabin N3 which looks directly out over the water, and has a small deck with a picnic table and two chairs. The cabin consists of a kitchen, dining/living room with flat screen TV and a bedroom with two queen size beds with doors that... More

We looked for a place to take our honeymoon. couldn't find any openings that we wanted and we are glad we didn't. This place was perfect for us and just 30 miles away. Great sunsets and the price was just right. We will definitely be coming back.

We de decided to pop down for a long weekend on the bike before the riding season ended. Unfortunately we waited too long to book one of the few cottages with paved drives and had to get an apartment room. The rooms are nice and clean but there were a few things to note. Curtains would be great since the... More
