Unfortunately there's no Marriotts or Hiltons sprouting up around Glasgow so we chose the Comfort Inn for a four night stay while visiting family int he area. There is a Days Inn right next to it, and it turns out they are owned by the same company, but the Days Inn reeks (and I mean awful) of smoke. in the... more

I normally prefer to stay in bed and breakfasts or small hotels, so I may not be qualified to judge the motel experience. Everything was adequate, but nothing grabbed me.
