This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast say it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is very charming and warm. The staff here is absolutely amazing. We were greeted by Miss Amanda we first arrived and she was wonderful. Since we were the only people here we got a tour of the house. The house is... More

My daughter and I booked this inn for our mutual birthdates. We found this B & B online. It was charming with the inside decorated appropriately with furniture of the period yet had modern Heat and Air and updated bathrooms. We paid for 2 nights and 2 breakfasts but only got one breakfast. The manager apologized but that didn't take... More

I'm not a great fan of B&Bs, but my wife is. This was a great experience for us. We stayed for two nights and visited Mammoth Cave and the Corvette Assembly Plant and then went on to Nashville, where we stayed at a very nice hotel. We canceled our third night in Nashville and spent a night here on the... More

Place is much more beautiful inside than outside. Decorated with a really good taste with lot's of antique items, that goes for rooms and common areas as well. Really beautiful if you like that old feeling like we do. Really good breakfast too and ok staff as well. Definitely worth visiting if you do like old, beautiful houses. Really had... More

My daughter and I had a very nice stay in the Dickinson Room and we were very comfortable and cozy. I just loved the rustic beauty of it and yet it had every comfort I could wish for. Despite being on Main Street and next to the police station, it was very quiet and there was very little traffic. Our... More

I had a delightful time here. I was in town on business and it was very convenient. I stayed in the Rose Sage Room. It was quite spacious, filled with pretty antiques and a private bath with shower. The whole place is historic and filled with interesting antiques. I will stay here again. Loved it.

My husband booked us for 2 nights as part of our visit to nearby Mammoth Caves. The room was lovely! Both the bedroom & attached bathroom were quite spacious! Our room had no tub, only a shower, but we both prefer that. The breakfasts were delicious & plentiful both mornings. The first morning we ate with two people from Texas,... More

This beautiful old house combines beautiful antiques, victorian bric-a-brac, and just old furniture and stuff to create a busy but charming atmosphere. We stayed in the Rose room, on the first floor, which may be the largest B & B room we have ever had. Bed was very comfy, and our only complaint was the second night when it got... More

I wish I could give this B&B more than 3 stars, but compared to other B&B's we've stayed at, this one was horribly lacking in certain areas: 1. The cottage is so cramped you can barely get around the bed. No real alternative seating options other than a very old and uncomfortable chair. There is ONLY a bath, no shower,... More
