We stayed at Blackridge Hall B&B for our 25th Anniversary trip. We stayed in My Old Kentucky Home Suite as a special treat to us. Our room was most importantly comfortable. It also was luxurious with a sitting area and large bathroom. Our room opened to the veranda where we would have spent sometime sitting and enjoying the view except... More

I've lived in Kentucky most of my life, but have never felt so much of the history and beauty of the Bluegrass region until I visited this absolutely lovely bed and breakfast. My husband and I went to the Kentucky Horse Park for the day -- this is one of the closest bed and breakfasts to that park, Kentucky enough... More

My girlfriend and I stayed in Blackridge Hall for a night during our roadtrip to the Smokey Mountains. Host Jim Black was very friendly and informative. He had many suggestions about what to do in the area, unfortunately we did not have much time for activities. Jim also helped us with where to eat and stay at our next stop.... More

Thia was our second visit to this lovely home. Jim is a perfect example of what a host should be. Our suite "My Old Kentucky Home " couldn't have been more comfortable. The attention to detail is evident everywhere you are in their home. Thank you for such a restful and enjoyable stay.

Ahhh... After a long day's drive, I pulled into Blackridge Hall Bed and Breakfast. As you can see from my photos, it is a wonderful place with about 10,000 square feet and extensive grounds. I stayed there twice while driving to and from WI. On the first stay, I was with my elderly aunt so we booked the My Old... More

My daughter and I spent four wonderful nights recently at Blackridge Hall. The host, Jim Black, provides true Southern hospitality at its best. From the beautifully decorated rooms to the candlelit breakfasts, you experience grandeur while feeling right at home. Very convenient to Kentucky Horse Park and other local attractions. A grand experience not to be missed!

Both my husband and I really enjoyed staying at Blackridge Hall last week. The grounds were beautiful, Jim's home inside and out was grand yet comfortable, I felt right at home. The attention to detail was evident from the various rooms to the masterpiece of our fruit plates the following morning. We stayed at two other B&B’s while we were... More

From the moment the gates open to this Southern estate, you know you are in for a rare treat. Jim Black, your host, greets you at the door and takes you on a guided tour of the facility. He designed the home and built it with the purpose of allowing his guests a rare look at what Southern hospitality and... More

A stay at Blackridge Hall is the modern day equivalent of authentic southern hospitality. By that we mean beautifully presented candlelit breakfasts on the veranda overlooking grazing thoroughbreds, meticulously decorated and cleaned rooms and suites, and a host and hostess that are committed to the comfort and enjoyment of the guests they share their home with. I would and have... More

I have stayed at many a bed & breakfast, superb to wonderful, but this is the first one where I truly felt like I had been invited into someone's home as a PERSONAL friend. The owner, Jim Black, was above & beyond helpful, and superbly knowledgeable, about all - yes, each and every one - of the local attractions. He... More
