We traveled from Atlanta, GA to visit the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. We arrived around 10:30 PM, and Gary graciously welcomed us in. There were cookies in our room each night, and the library had a fireplace where you could have a "night cap" with bourbon sitting out. The bed was very comfortable, and there was Wifi. Rose's breakfast was absolutely... More

Touring the bourbon trail we stopped in Frankfort, KY for two nights. It is ten minutes to Buffalo Trace and twenty to thirty minutes to Woodford Reserve. The Meeting House is within walking distance of the historic district and is itself historic. I believe it was constructed in the early to late 1800's. It is also across from state and... More

We had a fleeting visit to Frankfort to go to one of the local distilleries. They had recommended staying here and we were not disappointed. Gary and Rose who run the bed breakfast are lovely people. There home dates back to 1827 and they have lovingly restored it. Our room was beautiful and there is a library on the first... More

Frankfort for a state capital is not as big as you might think, but this B&B is big and takes you back in time. Large entrance hall, dining room, library, and bedrooms. Couple of added twists, fist floor western style rear communal balcony, a ground floor rear Cafe, free bourbon to sample in the library, and home cooked old style breakfasts... More

This was a nice Civil war era place owned by a lovely couple, Gary and Rose, from Boston (hence the Go Habs comment!). We were the only guests that night and were given free run. Spent a great evening sitting on the 2nd floor veranda with a nice cigar and some local bourbon (it's all local right?) Breakfast was served... More

Stayed here with friends, we were doing our geocaching around the area and exploring Frankfort. The house is full of history and Rose has poured her love and talent of decorating with historical and antiques in every room along with decorating the house to meet the holidays. The host Rose and Gary are a wonderful, delightful couple, who know how... More

I recently stayed for four weeks at the B&B while researching at the Kentucky Historical Society. Gary and Rose Burke, the innkeepers, were incredibly kind to me. When I pulled an all-nighter to finish my dissertation, Gary brought up a fresh pot of their gourmet coffee, and Rose made sure I was consuming something besides caffeine. Not everyone will visit... My husband and I went to visit the Meeting House for our 4th anniversary! We had an amazing time at the Merting House! Wonderful rooms, great atmosphere, and even better home owners! Rose and "Gar" were great and do NOT miss any of Rose's food because it is amazing! I have already recommended this B and B to several other... More

My wife and I recently snuck away from the kids and spent a night in the Meeting House. We loved the charm of the house and the location was fantastic, within walking distance of the Historic District and other captiol sites. We went for a hardhat tour at Buffalo Trace which we recommend. The owners were very sweet and the... More

My husband and I stayed here while we toured some distilleries and really enjoyed having The Meeting House to come back to. Gary and Rose are excellent hosts and you won't find a better Scotch Egg!! Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, decor is fascinating and eclectic. Stay here if you appreciate hospitality and history.
