This is a very unique place to stay. If you are looking for a place outside of Ubud (too far to walk), with great scenery and a spa and restaurant on site, you will enjoy Suly. You may want to book a deluxe room. We were on the top floor with amazing views. The included breakfast was good and the... More

We stay at room 128 from 22th to 24th. By the way place is nice, breakfast good, but toilet dirty and room wet and really smelling humidity. On the tour desk we booked a transport to Gili Meno for 700000 rupies. We asked twice if was a full transport included to gili meno and they say yes ofcourse. Once in... More

A beautiful hidden treasure oasis, this hotel trains under privileged teens to give them a successful future in hospitality. Beautiful gardens and very tranquil. Buffet breakfast caters for westerners. Dancing girls and a traditional Balinese orchestra whilst we ate dinner on the Saturday night was a real treat. The staff are only to willing to please. Good value for money.... More

The resort is beautifully laid out and the idea to have trainees run the place is great. The only problem is that it is very far from Ubud and there are no eating out options in vicinity. When we tried to venture out to find some restaurant anywhere close by one of us fell into a hole on the sidewalk.

Among all the hotels I've been in Indonesia during a 2 weeks trip, this was clearly the worst. Rooms look old and dirty, bed sheets not clean, rooms not ready by the time we arrived (14:00), breakfast mediocre, etc. The staff from the tours desk at the reception is constantly trying to sell you their trips, during the shuttles, when... Since reviews here on trip advisor were good, I decided to book one room for two nights. I was really looking forward to come to this resort, but it was real disappointment from the beginning. We arrived late at night and lady at the reception checked if our room is ready and then the guy showed us the way, but... More

Our group of 75 was welcomed so graciously by the staff and hospitality students during our 10-day stay. Always smiling while tending to all our requests. The grounds and buildings are beautiful and well maintained. Buffet meals for our large group were excellent with lots of choices. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. WiFi was available in public areas. The workshop... More

I stayed at Suly for a few days whilst visiting Ubud and was surprised at how cheap it was compared to other similar hotels in the area. Now it is a little bit out of town (hence the great price I'm sure) but they do have a free shuttle that runs a few times a day. The hotel itself is... More

Overall, a wonderful experience and good bang for your buck. Not in the heart of the tourist area, which I prefer, but close enough by shuttle or if you like to walk. 2 beautiful swimming pools, a friendly, young staff, and nice rooms (I was in the "new" building). I was with a large group who liked to stay up... More

I stayed with Suly for a quite long time and observed everything there from the guest/s to all the staff and management. This place is really a paradise in the midst of rice field with a friendly and courteous young staff. I stayed in the second floor of a new building overlooking the outdoor pool. Every morning they served plenty... More
