Our stay at The Farm was everything we had hoped for and more! Angie is a real sweetheart and made us feel completely at home. We stayed in 'Suite Katie' and had the whole upstairs to ourselves for the 4 nights of our stay. We could not have been more comfortable after long days of sightseeing and bourbon tasting during... We stopped here for one night on our way to the Smokies and so glad we did. The kids (and grown ups) loved seeing, petting and learning about the animals. Tire swing was a hit too. Belle's Cottage was perfect for our family of four - we definitely could have stayed longer and made this a home base for exploring... More

A splendid family run operation where guests are treated more like family than transients. Adults and children alike will relish the farm and barnyard for the country ambiance and storybook creatures. Churn butter, gather fresh eggs, milk a goat, relax next to the fire pit or just do nothing and enjoy the authentic locally grown cuisine. We are return guests... More

Fantastic experience in the farm, couldn't get enough and can't wait to return. This is a totally customizable getaway---with pre-arrangements this can be as hands on or hands off as you want. Room accomodations were comfortable, clean, and as expected. Breakfast is fresh and served on time each morning and is absolutely delicious--a true country farm meal. Begin as a... More

We spent our honeymoon here, and I'm so glad we did! We were welcomed with the smells of homemade peach cobbler shaped like a heart, just for us, with a bottle of wine. Roy and Angie went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The breakfast was delicious! The cooking and barn classes so much fun! Suite Katie is... More

My husband and I enjoyed ourselves. We truly enjoyed the hospitality. If you come to The Farm you must go to the restaurant for dinner. Breakfast this morning was nothing short of amazing with everything made fresh. I wish we could of stayed for the barn tour and goat ice cream making lesson. I highly recommend it to everyone. I... As others have said, the owners are very friendly, and this is a delightfully relaxing and enjoyable property. The atmosphere was wonderful and is a great change-of-pace from more traditional stays. There's lots of space to sit and enjoy watching the animals, and the breakfast was really outstanding. I do have one small comment, sorry if this seems petty: I... More

My husband and I spent two nights at The Farm, and we would have loved to stay longer. We really enjoyed learning to make cheese and getting to see all the animals. I especially liked Romeo, a male goat, who loved to nibble. They also had a baby donkey, calf, several baby goats, and chicks. We had a wonderful relaxing... More

Our son's River City Youth Brass Band from Pittsburgh was invited to play in Danville's Great American Brass Band Festival on the weekend of 6/06/14. It would be our first time in Kentucky. We needed a place to stay and we called B&B's and hotels. We loved the idea that The Farm LLC was a working farm -- a unique... More

My wife and I stayed at the farm 6/7/14 for one night. This place was exactly what we needed. It was so beautiful and peaceful. We stayed in the suite Katie. The room was outstanding and the bathroom was perfect for a couple. The breakfast was so delicious! Angie, Roy and Juliet were very kind and loving. We enjoyed meeting... More
