I was very impressed with The View Golf Resort. The manager Lorraine was very friendly and our stay in the two bedroom condo was excellent. The condo was spotless with all the amenities to make your own meals. We ate our dinner and breakfast in the dining room upstairs and breakfast in the downstairs eatery. The golf course was fun to... After 4 of us had a round of golf we ate at the restaurant connected with the resort. Our food was excellent. Our friends said it was the best fish chowder they had ever eaten and they eat at least one meal out daily. I had the mussels in white wine and my husband had pan fried cod with a... More

If you are in the Bonavista area, this golf club is a nice alternative to all the tourist places around Trinity. We happened to go here as the entire Trinity area was sold out, but were pleasantly surprised. It wasn't inexpensive, but it was so nice to have quiet to sleep and a lean spacious place. We had a large... More

Visited this resort with another couple; played golf, travelled on ATV and had a wonderful time. The rooms are clean, nicely furnished and the view is amazing. We stayed overnight (2 bedroom suite) played 18 holes of golf each and had supper for less than $150.00 per couple. Unbelievable. Check this place out, you won't be disappointed!

If you are looking for a quiet get-away from it all and a little time enjoying both golf and Mother Nature then this definitely is the spot. We lucked out with great weather and enjoyed both golf and fishing trips (easily arranged through the view). The course is beautiful and the restaurant puts on a good meal. Seeing several whales... We came by for a visit last year, just to see the place. The friendly staff showed us the rooms, and we decided then we were coming back for a stay the following year. We have been there twice this summer, once as a couple and once again with our kids and friends in tow. And they had a child... More

It has a beautiful view, and the golf course is amazing, but it is billed as a luxury golf resort and it's not luxury and not a resort. Friendly staff, big room, but the furniture was no way luxury, neither was the clubhouse building. Dining room food was quite good, but we were told we had to be there by... More

During our trip through Newfoundland we stayed for two nights at this small hotel near Princeton on Bonavista Peninsula and it was real good time. First of all we have to send many thanks to the owner of this hotel because they have been the only one who accepted a reservation during the off season. We ask many hotels, B&B... More

We stayed at The View last week renting a 2 bedroom suite for 2 couples. The accomodations were fantastic, the staff terrific and helpful and the food even better. Trevor, Travis and the girls were all so welcoming and fun. We even enjoyed a nice bonfire a couple of evenings. The views from the lookout were spectacular and we will... More
