We stopped here with our kids for a rest after a long day of driving. It was clean and good for the price. Its not a five star hotel by any means but they dont charge five star prices. Our kids loved the pool and my daughter thought it was the best pool ever. Good pitstop.

Within walking distance to the border crossing, and less than a mile from the Trans-Canada, Daigle's Motel was our choice to stay for a family gathering in Van Buren, ME. The rooms met our basic expectations, clean and not too small. The service was a pleasant surprise - everyone was genuinely eager to help and make recommendations for local activities... More

We stopped here because of bad weather on a long drive from Ottawa to Fredericton. Reception was fine. The rooms were clean and the internet worked well. The shower was a bit hard to figure out. We had breakfast the next morning in the restaurant. It was good, although service was a bit slow.

Daigle's Motel was our first ever experience of a particularly impolite, moody and unhelpful motel owner - not just to us but to everyone who fronted up at the desk to book. We were at ths stage desperate for a place to stay after a long day's travel so -beggars can't be choosers! The motel was very basic and somewhat... More

The room was clean and spacious enough but it was quite dated. Not sure why, but at 10 o'clock the next morning there was no running water in the sink or shower. Luckily I had showered earlier and brushed my teeth. The pool is nice but out in the open near a very busy street.

Used this as a stopover on the drive East. Reception not overly warm but efficient and polite. Room nice and clean and it was a very quiet night. We really enjoyed the pool the following morning.. it doesn't really have any privacy from the road but was clean and refreshing. Has a small toddler area at one end and is... More

My boyfriend and I checked into this motel after 2 days of driving. We had stopped so that we could eat and shower and sleep. The motel advertised a restaurant so we stopped. The manager was rude but being the only motel in town we stayed anyways. The restaurant is closed in the winter which was not advertised so we... More

This Motel was a welcome find after driving for 13 hours on our way to the Cabot Trial. On August 12th 2012 we left Toronto on our 2 week journey across the East Coast. Prior to leaving we had made reservations for the Days Inn in Edmunston New Brunswick. Upon arriving at the Days Inn we found that they had... More

This is a somewhat rustic motel located in a small town; it's the only motel in the town. Pluses: clean rooms, conveniently located just off the highway, approximately midway between Maritimes and Montreal. Less expensive than motels in the next, larger, city. Minuses: very small town with nothing else to do; motel located very near border crossing between Canada and... More

Triple star CAA/AAA rated Daigles offers a restful spot for weary travellers. Located some 5 minutes south of the Trans-Canada it has both motel units and cabins - spacious and squeaky clean. Pet friendly it features lots of grassy areas for exercise. A highlight is a restaurant onsite which offers tasty family type breakfasts and dinners. Daigles is a fine... More
