This lodge is so charming, we have stayed in the lodge and in the cottages. We love both. It is located in a beautiful location. This is not a fancy place but it is rustic, cozy and romantic. If you love the outdoors there are so many hiking trails and the falls is beautiful. The staff are so nice and... More

We visited Cumberland Falls State Park three weeks ago for one night. We rented a "Rustic Cabin" for our overnight stay. Our visit did not start out well in that when we pulled into our designated parking spot we did not see the rebar that was protruding from the cement bumper and tore up the front of our car. We... We did not participate in scheduled activities, but thoroughly enjoyed the hike to Eagle Falls. It is beautiful and quaint, with less foot traffic. Some agility is required to get there, but the reward is an opportunity to splash around in a mountain pool formed by these falls from 100ft or so. Don't get under the waterfall, it will beat... We visited the resort as stopping point on our way to Ohio. It was a great place to see. We loved the rustic look of the lodge. Although our room was a little small, it was very clean and managed. The staff (except one guy) were all polite and professional. Dinner and breakfast was very good also. The falls were... More

Older lodge. Showing it's age but very clean and quite. Has construction going on and have moved dining room to a small meeting room. Staff had to bring food from down stairs kitchen which delayed service food was average but staff was over worked. Beautiful and peaceful but very secluded. Trail #4 behind lodge is closed due to construction other... More

But loads of charm and some of the friendliest staff around. Yes, the rooms in the lodge are a little to the small side, and other than the falls everything is a little drive, but as a place to get away and enjoy nature for a few days it's pretty darn good. The restaurant is passable to good, a good... More

The lodge is small but nice with a fireplace and seating but the patio area was closed for construction - looks like it has a gorgeous view of the river but we could not go out there at all. The restaurant was a buffet but also had a menu and neither the chicken sandwich nor the chicken tenders were too... More

Cumberland Falls, known as the Niagra of the South, is a beautiful destination for photographers, hikers, kayakers, and just anyone who loves outdoor beauty. The Falls really are gorgeous and there are wonderful hiking trails throughout the park. Dupont Lodge is the closest lodging to the Falls, except they also offer cabins and camping. The Lodge is a typical KY... More

We needed to be in Corbin last weekend and thought this time of year it might be nice to stay at the lodge since we always go down to the Falls when we are in town. This was not a good decision. It took forever to get checked in as the computers were down. The room was upstairs and there... More
