Great location. Great room service but did have problems. Problem: Door handle floppy and loose therefore very difficult to unlock. Refrigerator and microwave requested when reservation made were never furnished. Decided to forego that convenience anyway. Problem: Hotel management charged a daily fee of $1.50 + tax for an in-room safe which we did not use. Asked to have charge... more

This hotel is in disarray. We initially made reservations on the hotel's web site. We checked in with a very friendly front desk clerk. Walking to the room we noticed that the pool was closed. The door to our room wouldn't open at first and while we were pulling on the door, the entire wall shook. I don't think this... more

Staff extremely friendly. Room was decent size. Everything fairly clean except for the shower. It looked like it had been wiped down but still had lots of soap scum and mildew that a little tilex would've taken right off. Beds were a bit hard and the air conditioner did not function. However, all said, we paid $37 for the room... more

Horrible hotel. Pool was closed (something not mentioned on the website). There were no other hotels with vacancies when we got there so couldn't change rooms on short notice. Room was dirty. Smelled terrible. Air conditioning did not work right and wouldn't adequately cool the room. Was supposedly non-smoking but reeked of cigarette smoke. The lock on the door didn't... more

The property is nothing like the pictures on the web. The pool was closed due to an "accident". This should have been something listed on the amenities section. The desk clerk was very friendly and did allow us to cancel our resorvation due to the hotel not meeting our expectations. Advise....try a different hotel first. There are several in the... more

Comfortable, clean & convenient. About a 10 minute drive to Mammoth Cave. Walking distance to restaurants & convenience stores. I come to this area every few years and will stay here again. more

My husband and I and 2 sons (7&8) stayed here to go to Mammoth Cave. I was extremely pleased with the accomodations. The drive was quicker than I thought, and we arrived very early, but with only a short delay the front desk person got us a very satisfactory room. The motel was clean, the room was nice, no problems... more

Very nice rooms, clean and spiffy. Breakfast somewhat heavy on sugary cereal, but many other choices. Wheelchair-accessible room has high tub that may cause some difficulty. A nice shower chair of transfer length is provided. Parking is right by door with a good ramp and walkway. more

I didn't know what to expect, especially after reading some of the other reviews, but Quality Inn in Cave City, was actually a very nice place to stay. The rooms were clean. The service was great. And the breakfast, although not hot, was better than I imagined. Usually for a continental breakfast you get coffee, and maybe a donut. But... more
