I stayed here for one night while on a road trip with my children. I booked the place based on the pictures thinking my young boys would enjoy the idea of staying in a wigwam. The initial appearance upon arrival was appealing and my kids love it. As we got closer we found the hotel to be in disrepair and... More

We have stayed in wigwam in AZ. Like new inside /out very clean. New paint inside out. Stayed 3 different... More

We had a blast at our Wigwam. It is not the Hilton but it was clean and we enjoyed the experience. I would stay again. It is out dated but we had no problem with that. It's kind of like staying in a bit of history.

Having stayed at the other two Wigwam motels our visit here completes our trifecta. Based on other reviews of this motel we were uncertain about staying here. Like the other Wigwam 's the structures are old, the interior furnished with funky odds and ins, and the overall setting is motorcourt sheik. But that is part of the experience. Our room... More

My husband and I were really excited to stay in this vintage wonder. From the website it looked kitsch and campy. While the wigwams are visually appealing they are rough...and in much need of some TLC. The manager was odd and curt (there is no office...you step into an unkempt living room ). The rooms smelled. There were dead bugs... More

Having read other reviews, we were prepared for a dirty room. We took our own bedding and a power strip. The wigwams are old, having been built in the 1930's and are on the historic register so they can't be updated a lot. That being said, they could at least be clean. They weren't horribly dirty but when my daughter... More

Let's get this out of the way first - Wigwam Village requires a certain sense of adventure if you are going to enjoy it. The rooms are in 15 (I think) wigwams set in a semi circle behind the main office, which is a very large wigwam. Each wigwam has a double bed, a small sitting area and a small... More

If you're expecting something brand new and immaculate, you should definitely go stay at a cookie cutter chain hotel. This place is very unique and full of charm. We drove 5 hours just to stay here. It was so much better than I expected after reading the reviews. The owner was very friendly and helpful both upon checking in and... More

We were excited for the trip to wigwam village and the pictures looked ok, but beware. We expected the age, but the small area is on a busy road with a trailer park right next door. I tried to wipe things down and my wipes were covered in dirt. The playground too was gross and has never been cleaned. The... More

My 13 year old son and Is stayed here while touring around the area to visit Mammoth Cave. It's kitschy. It's not new and fancy. There's no Wi-Fi but there is a small tv. Our room was clean but run down. This is a basic accommodation that you stay at for the experience not the luxury.
