I've got to say they sure make the place look adorable online. We rented cabin 1, the largest and the only with a full kitchen. I'll start with the good things, why I give it 2 stars rather than 1 star: - Had a full kitchen (it was stocked, that was nice) -Private (meaning not attached to another room) -Separate... More

There were two of us staying for one night on our way to camp in Florida for spring break. We were on our way to Mammoth Cave before we left the next day, which was only about a 5-minute drive. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. I think the important thing to remember is that you are CAMPING.... it's... More

This isn't the Holiday Inn but it is fun. The cabins are small and cozy - just like in the pictures. Ralph is an interesting character with lots of stories to tell. Don't expect to have a lengthy shower. I got about 2 minutes of hot water for mine. Everything you need is in the room and you can get... More

We stayed in cabin 1, the largest of the cabins. It sleeps six and there were 5 of us. Although the cabin was a bit shabby, it was truly very comfortable and clean. Sort of like your great aunts summer home. The kitchen was realy fully equipped; there were even cookie sheets for the oven. It was a tight fit... More

What a great experience. The cabins were built in the 1920's or 1930's and the owners are trying to keep the exteriors true to that era while modernizing the interiors. The owners were fantastic and made our stay very enjoyable. Ralph was so pleasant to talk to. We looked forward to seeing him in the evening while he and Shadow... More

We went there for my son's birthday. The owner was wonderful in making it a birthday for my son to remember. He was really nice and my son said meeting Mr. Ralph was the best part of his trip. That says something especially since we took him to caves, go-karts and the little amusement park. We will probably going back... More

What a cute little place and the price was right. The owners were so welcoming and accommodating, helping us put together a fire, offering fresh coffee in the morning and making sure their sign wished our birthday boy a happy day! We were all smiles and we had privacy and closeness to Mammoth Cave! We felt very welcome and cared... More

Spent one night - very close to Visitor Center of Mammoth Cave. Four of us stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin - cozy but comfortable. Very clean/ good air conditioning and nice shower. Beds were excellent. The owner , Ralph, was very helpful and attentive. He made certain we received an item we accidently left behind. The price was worth... More

The cabins are on the older side, but are clean, neat and bug free. We stayed in the 1 bedroom cottage, had a bathroom and kitchen. Sofa sleeper in the living room, 2 double beds in the bedroom. Close to the caves and area attractions. Ralph and his wife Lina have owned the cabins for a year or so, doing... More
