This little place was the perfect escape for the Thanksgiving week. Comfortable, clean, and with lots of space for the kids to run around outside. Plus it was very close to Mammoth Cave National Park and a lot of the other caves in the area. Nice little town nearby, and super-friendly owners. And thanks for the Thanksgiving snow!! :)

I've stayed here many times over the years and enjoyed staying most recently on Thanksgiving. It was a last minute decision as weather had turned bad for camping with our dog. It's a great spot to stay close to mammoth cave. It's small yet has everything you need (microwave, fridge, bathroom.) A bit dated, but everything is clean and the... More

Stayed here at the end of October 2014. I chose Rock Cabin Camping because I love out of the way, non commercial campgrounds. We cannot say enough good things about this experience. Of course we were there to take in the Mammoth Cave experience. It was wonderful. We are traveling in a 29' travel trailer for the next 5 months.... More

We had a great 1-nt stay in a cabin. Ralph even gave us a complimentary upgrade as he was shuffling some rooms around. We came in late and he met us right away, showed us around, and gave us some tips for the area. We had dogs and we loved walking them around the grounds. The cabin was cozy and... More

Stayed here in August 2014 with my family. We had one of the larger cabins for ourselves plus a small one for the kids. Bigger one was fully equipped, small one just for sleeping. The place was very clean and has a nice 'old school' atmosphere. The owner, Ralph, helped us in any way he could and is a wonderful... More

This was our first time staying in these cabins and we really enjoyed ourselves. Loved being able to step right outside and grill and/or have a fire. The owner was so friendly! He helped us all the way to the cabin when we arrived an came out and talked to us while we were outside that evening to check on... More

Thank you Ralph for your friendly hospitality and cozy little cabins. We stayed here at the first leg of our vacation journey. We wanted to visit Mammoth Cave NP but without the tent set-up and work of camping. Ralph is personable, accommodating and super helpful. The price range is perfect and right where it should be in my opinion. Our... More

We camped here while visiting Mammoth Cave. The owners are wonderful and very accommodating. Gave us lots of room to camp and let us hook up to electricity. The bathhouse is in need of some repairs and TLC. But they were clean and lots of hot water. And they were free. The campground at Mammoth Cave charges to use the... More

These cabins have a great location between the caves and town. The cabins themselves do need a bit of updating but the owner had mentioned he was working on that while we were there. The bathroom was a bit small and hot water was a bit of an issue, but it says camping in the title not hotel.

We are grandparents taking 2 teens on a Spring Break trip. We were satisfied with our 3 day stay at Rock Cabins. The location was perfect for exploration of the area and even Louisville, 1 1/2 hours away. The girls had cabin 8 and my husband and I had cabin 1. If you will just be at the cabin to... More
