I love coming here and have been here many times. The location is beautiful, lots of wildlife, and the staff are always very friendly. I'd recommend staying in the building/lodge beside the main building on the top floor (200-220) for the most quite and greatest scenery. My only complaint was the food this time. There was a seafood buffet on... More

this cabin was so smelly, it was like it was sitting right on top of a septic tank! we were supposed to stay two nights, but checked out after one miserable night! The inn itself was nice, the food was great, and so were the people but the room was so awful it cancelled out all the good things

Have camped here many times.Husband & I decided to stay in the Lodge. We have a very nice & peaceful time. Its not the Hilton, but real nice. Many things could be updated, like a mini fridge, microwave for the rooms. But overall they were ok.Loved the balcony that faced the woods.....beautiful view.I was very upset though to see the shape of the over all park. The restrooms... We recently spent our second long weekend here and did enjoy ourselves. We again got a room w 2 queen size beds and found it to be bigger than your average hotel room. Rooms have both front and rear doors that open to either a balcony or to the pool area. The rooms were lodge deco which made them a... More

I would have given only one star if I hadn't enjoyed this place in the past. My wife and I stayed overnight here for a quick swimming getaway and were sorely disappointed! We had spent some time here with family previously and really enjoyed ourselves. However, this trip made us think twice about coming back. A big storm hit as... More

Stayed in a 'cottage' with my family recently. The cottage is really more of a condo- 2 bedroom option with kitchen, shared wall with neighbors. Accommodations were fair- found the whole place rather 'sterile.' Huge vaulted ceilings with nothing on the walls- very cold overall, everything echoes. The kitchen has a full size fridge, dishwasher and stove- dishes and utensils... More

I stayed at General Butler for a board meeting and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were a bit more hotel like than I expected, which was nice. The room was clean and conveniently located to the lodge and giant outside pool. The food at the buffett was just good home cooking food. I'll probably return with my family for a... More

Stayed here for 4th of July weekend for a family reunion. Plenty for everyone to do (hike, golf, swim, putt putt, canoe, paddle boat), nice place to eat (lodge restaurant), and good place to stay (lodge rooms, cabins, tent sites). Nice and reasonably priced place to stay for a great time close to nature!

We just happened upon this place and boy were we impressed! the view from our room was amazing! the bed was so comfortable! the lodge and our room was rustic but nice. we were driving thru so we didn't get to do anything at the resort or park. I wish I would have known about this place before!~

We recently stayed here with a family reunion and it was pretty nice. The park itself is very nice with lots of activities. It has several playgrounds, miniature golf, golf, tennis courts, a pool, campgrounds, basketball courts and picnic shelters. The resort itself is ok but could use a little TLC. The rooms are your normal room nothing fancy. The... More
