When booking, spring the extra $20 for a lake view. The views are breathtaking. Clean room, great and friendly employees. The restaurant at the lodge was good too. An omelet that I got could have easily fed two people. One small complaint. The rooms are non smoking but you can smoke on your balcony. The second hand smoke wafts into... More

Our family stayed at the lodge for a couple of nights. Check in was fast and easy, and the staff friendly. Our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking Dale Hollow. The room was very clean, and our stay there was very enjoyable. The Lodge has a Restaurant that is very good.

We had a great weekend of boating on the beautiful lake. We had 2 rooms and for a holiday weekend the rates were excellent. Our rooms were spotlessly clean, roomy and fairly modern by state park standards. The front desk staff are very pleasant and helpful. Our kids loved the breakfast and dinner buffets. The waitstaff are charming and very... More

The place is very nice but is located in the heart of backwoods land! We arrived for a NYE celebration. Like going back in time 50 years! Locals running it. Very against drinking and partying. Don't get me wrong. We weren't causing trouble, however, they were only there to collect our money for lodging and nothing else. We drove four... More

Our family of 8 stayed at the lodge and were given rooms on the 3rd floor of Oak #2. Oak #2 has only a forest view while Oak #1 has the view of the lake and Trooper Island and Tennessee as far as the eye can see. Our room had no microwave therefore no way to heat our prepared food... More

The staff will go over the top to make your stay amazing. They have wonderful attitudes and so kind. The interior is dated, but clean. The views are breathtaking. One thing that bothered us is the front desk told us the rates go up or down depending on how many people are staying for the night. Every other hotel we... More

My sister and I stayed in one of the adorable cabins at the campground and we loved it. We arrived late and had to pick up our 'room keys' at The lodge. The cabin was clean and the air conditioning was a huge bonus. The bathrooms were pretty dirty, especially the shower, but i never expect much from a state... More

This was our first time at this state resort park. We were so pleased with our stay. We stayed in a room facing the lake. Totally worth it. Balcony was nice and large with comfortable seating and a table. The view is breathtaking. The room was very nice. Clean. Bathroom was large with lots of counter space and great towels.... More

We were recently here for a business meeting and couldn't have asked for a more perfect trip. The views from the room and dining area were spectacular, especially with all of the spring colors beginning to appear. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent in the lodge dining room. It was also nice to be... More

We have an get-a-way log home built in 1804 five miles from Dale Hollow Lake and Resort so we enjoy the park and resort greatly. It is a quick and easy trip from loading the boat to getting into the water. Two, dining at the lodge restaurant, hiking the park trails, playing golf or playing putt-putt, or just simply walking...
