The house and grounds are beautiful. The location is great; you can't get any closer to Mammoth Cave! The owners and their dog, Oreo, are very nice. The food was delicious! No need for lunch. I can't say anything negative!

We stayed at Serentiy for a night to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. Such a nice experience. Rick and Stephanie are the sweetest people. My husband doesn't like biscuit and gravy and Stephanie graciously made us something else. I wish we could have stayed another night.

We needed to get away from everyday life and this was a great place to relax either on the outdoor decks or in their comfy rooms. But still close enough to enjoy Mammoth Caves and the park. Luxurious linens/robes. Great food. And we always had tea, water, cocoa and microwave popcorn available. Rick & Stephanie are gracious hosts, even adjusting... More

We often travel with our good friends, kids in tow, and I am never a fan of hotels on our trips together. We travel together to enjoy social time with our adult friends, which is difficult with a hotel setup and children's bedtimes. While house or cabin rental is easy in high-traffic destinations, we found our options limited when we... More

We stayed in the Garden room and were not disapointed. The view was wonderful!.. Breakfast was unique and tasteful and very filling every morning. On site accomodations were very nice. Most of all owners were extremely friendly, accomodating and hospitable. Would definitely recommend to a friend or stay there again. Thanks Rick and Stephanie and Oreo!!!

My stay at the Serenity Hill Bed & Breakfast was amazing. They had plenty of space to accommodate me and my friend. We were greeted with a warm welcome. The location is perfect for travelers wanting to see the beautiful scenery of Kentucky, which is also extremely close to Mammoth Cave. We both stayed in two separate rooms. Each room... More

We were in Louisville for the weekend for a wedding and decided to escape the city for a few days and explore Mammoth Cave. We happened upon Serenity Hill on TripAdvisor and decided to give them a call since the lodge at the park is closed temporarily for renovations. We are SO glad we did! Richard, Stephanie & Oreo were... More

My parents ,Jack and Sandy Lengyel along with my mother in law ,had the privilege of being the first guests of the new owners of Serenity Hill. We have a family farm near by and needed extra room for all the family that arrived for Christmas. This B&B was perfect. Warm comfy beds for those cold Kentucky nights. Yummy breakfasts.... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights; it was a perfect home-base for us while we explored Mammoth Cave. We stayed in the Garden Room, and it was beautiful! Very comfortable bed, and I loved the enormous jetted tub in the bathroom after a particularly strenuous caving tour. We also enjoyed drinking wine on the front porch one... More

Sadly, I was there for the next to last day of the previous owners. The B&B is now under new ownership. The property is located on a hill adjacent to Mammoth Cave National Park. I actually drove through the park to get there. The B&B itself is like a private home. Depending on who else is staying there, you might... More
