Our family of 13, rented the Acorn and Fox Inn for our annual family vacation. This place is AMAZING. Beautiful view of the lake, very clean and just a beautiful house. Every room is uniquely decorated with antiques and has alot of character. The owner (Al Noble) is very kind and is always willing to give directions or suggestions of... More

We found The Acorn and Fox by accident. We were planning on finding a couple of large rental houses close together for our trip to Cumberland Lake but we came across this Inn. When we saw it, we immediately were attracted by the beautiful view and spacious and well designed rooms. Michelle, the event planner/coordinator, was so accommodating to our... More

A girlfriend and I just had the pleasure of celebrating her birthday by "running away from home" for two nights at The Acorn and Fox Inn. The word inn applies here as the house is huge. It was designed by Al's daughter Sally after a home that Al, the innkeeper, saw in South Carolina. He liked the arrangement of all... More

Partner and I spent 3 days at Lake Cumberland and I was so happy that I picked the Acorn and Fox Inn for our first Lake experience. The home sits in a quiet area surrounded by trees. It sits atop a hill overlooking the lake. We stayed in the Lake View Room. Huge king bed and spacious bathroom. Off the... More

My husband and I spent one night at the Acorn and Fox Inn and it is wonderful B&B! Al was an excellent host and Nancy is amazing cook! We stayed in the Cottage Lane Room. It was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was a delicious feast! The only downside to staying at this Inn is that there aren't TV's... More

My wife and I recently spent one night at the Acorn and Fox Inn. This lovely and spacious home sits directly on the edge of Cumberland Lake, with treed areas all around. The back porch extends the entire length of the house, and is further extended by a screened in area equipped with comfortable outdoor furniture. The size of the... More

Our family (7 brothers/sisters/mates) spent a lovely three-day weekend in late October, 2012, at the Acorn & Fox Inn. The place was clean and well maintained with plenty of room to stretch out and have fun. Each breakfast was delicious with excellent variety. We are returning in 2013. Wheeler Family

This is a beautiful place to stay. Excellent facilities, beautiful setting, and the best breakfast I've had. Located right on lake Cumberland with an excellent view. Very relaxing venue. The owner is great and I strongly recommend you try this B&B!

The Acorn and Fox Inn is not an historic inn, but rather, a large modern house built to be a B&B. The house is situated in a lovely wooded area overlooking Lake Cumberland. The rooms are large and well furnished, and most featured king size beds. Al Noble, the innkeeper, was gracious and accommodating. The Acorn and Fox Inn is... More
