My husband and I decided to take a family vacation this year to celebrate his 60th birthday. We took our two sons, ages 25 & 17. We chose this hotel for a couple of reasons: location, price and what was supposedly an "indoor" pool. The pictures we viewed online seemed clean and inviting. Whoa, were we wrong! When we arrived... more

you know the saying: "you get what you pay for!" That's the criteria when looking for a room. The question to be asked... "is it in line the price you pay?" For this EconoLodge, it is. Sure, it could be cleaner. Sure, it could have more amenities, like a coffeemaker in the room. Sure, it could have a better breakfast.... more

This hotel is part of the Choice hotel Group (EconoLodge, Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites), but not for long. At the rate the present owners are managing it. We found bugs in our room. The shower was very poor (showerhead) and little hot water. We ran out of towels and were told by the management they were out. To get ice... more

We booked the Econo Lodge in January for the NHRA reunion in June. When we booked it all the hotels in the area were sold out except this hotel. Than when I googled earth the hotel I read awful reviews about this hotel and it scared me so much I almost canceled my trip. That's why I'm writing this review:... more

My husband and I wanted to just have a little week-end get away. We wanted a room with a whirlpool. After paying the $125.00 we were first given a room (104) that had pubic hair in the tub. After asking for another room I wished I had just washed the hair out of the first one. because the second room... more

First of all the advertised indoor pool was so nasty that I refused to let my children swim in it, only to come out the next day to watch the Health Dept. testing the pool and closing it down. Strangly, the pool had nothing done to it but was open again. The free high speed internet is something to laugh... more

My husband and I along with 6 other couples stayed at this motel for the NHRA car show. We all had terrible experiences. Our room was on the backside of the motel and the parking area was not lit at all. Our room was a suite. What a joke. ! The room was filthy, there was grafiti on the wall... more

Chose Econo Lodge for location since I was travelling back and forth from WKU all weekend. Right off I-65, close to all restaurants, and has easy access back onto interstate. Front desk clerk was so friendly, assisted me with finding the perfect place for dinner, a quite restaurant in downtown BG, reserved my table there also. Housekeeper was generous with... more

The experience I had at the Econo lodge was absolutely great! Stayed in one of their Jacuzzi suites with my husband for a weekend getaway and found it to be so relaxing and comfortable. There are even two tvs in the room, so that while I was getting ready for dinner, he was in the other room watching the game.... more
