My wife and I stayed overnight on Monday, April 6, 2015. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. However, the air conditioner kept shutting off and the room became unbearably hot. My wife got little sleep and I got less. We did Mammoth Cave for 2 hours the next morning and then drove 9 hours... My husband and I just stayed here for a friend's wedding with our 9 month old baby. This hotel was pretty perfect. It is very clean and quiet. The air conditioner worked very well. We like to keep it pretty cold at night and just bundle up the baby in lots of blankets. She slept great. We brought our own... More

Thank you Andy, Nicole and everyone who makes our stay so special. When we walk in the door, it's like coming home and being with good friends. They know who we are, honor our room requests and treat our large group (from the National Corvette Museum) with warm southern hospitality.

Wife likes the Cinnamon role so we had to book this place despite the highway robbery pricing. We were in the end very thankful. Upon check in we watched as droves of people were turned away looking for a room. We payed near $200 for executive smoking room as it was only one left 30 hours before our arrival. Jacob... More

I was thankful to get a room period on a very busy night for Owensboro hotels along the interstate. It was a dark and stormy evening (sorry - I just had to) and people were definitely turning in early which left me with no room at the inn next door. I was pleasantly surprised by the Holiday Inn Express. My... More

Very nice room, excellent breakfast. Everything was more than adequate and up to date. Lots of chain restaurants nearby.Pet friendly, which is a nice plus for us, and our small travelling pet! The breakfast had a lot of choices, including pancake machine in one minute, faster than the toaster!! Two hot choices, and cold yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, for the health... More

Stayed for one night and it was nice to stay in a relatively new hotel. Hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast. We stayed in a 3rd floor king room. My only problem was the noise level. The one bathroom light switch also turns on the bathroom exhaust... More

The service was great. But although it is considered a "smoke-free" hotel (and there are many signs everywhere!), the minute you enter the lobby it reeks of smoke. The 2nd floor was the same way. We were there with 30+ teenagers and 8 adults and most likely won't be back to this hotel.

Mic1900. Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. First, I would like to sincerely apologize for the smoking smell that you experienced during your stay at our property. Although we have 10 smoking rooms on our third floor, our first and second floors are smoke free. In addition, our property will be going completely non-smoking within the... More

Stayed here while traveling back from Florida. Room was very very clean and quiet. Ask for a king size room on the 3rd floor. Staff was very friendly. Couldn't of asked for more. Make sure you grab a cinnamon roll for breakfast!

We love staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Bowling Green. It's always like coming home. We are welcomed warmly, rooms are so comfortable and breakfast is great. They even have a Manager's reception every week. See you in April.
