Outstanding friendly welcome by Carolyn and Eddie O'Daniel the owners of the winery. Fantastic Historial House in Ky's countryside but close to Bardstown and the distilleries. Absolutely good and opulent breakfast! Feel like a time traveller as a Queen and King in these historic rooms.

Springhill was our selected venue for my daughter's wedding. I could not have been more pleased with everything! We had family stay at the B & B also. Our family raved about the breakfast and the lovely accommodations. Eddie and Carolyn were entertaining and the perfect hosts. The wedding was lovely with the vineyards as a backdrop. The rehearsal dinner... More

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at Springhill and loved it! We were made to feel right at home. The rooms were very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The food was fabulous and we loved the fact the owner ate breakfast with us each morning. We enjoyed the conversation and hearing stories of the history of the house and the... More

My husband and I decided to stay at a Springhill to celebrate our first year anniversary. Upon arriving just shy of 5pm, the lady who helped us in the wine tasting room was not very friendly. She sort of rushed us through our wine tasting, and did not seem interested in our questions / small talk. She showed us to... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Springhill Bed and Breakfast. If is conveniently located just off the Bluegrass Hwy making it a good location if doing any Bourbon tours and tastings in Bardstown or Lexington area. Eddie and Carolyn go out of their way to make you feel like you are not only guests but friends. We had only... More

Superior hosts, great food, excellent winery,m not too far from Louisville for the Derby. We especially enjoyed the Civil war history of the house and used the location as a convenient starting point for Bardstown and the Bourbon trail.

My wife and i received a gift certificate and we actually ended up staying on a Sunday night. we first enjoyed the wine tasting at the winery and then were recommended several places to eat supper in Bardstown by the staff person. When we returned, we went to the sitting room to watch a couple of tv shows. we were... More

Staying in a pre-civil war home, i wasn't sure what to expect. The house was remarkably restored, so there is a private bathroom in each room. 15 foot ceilings, so mauch character. Our room was very clean and the common area in the home was more than adequate to relax and enjoy the company of the other house guests. The... More

We weren't really sure what to think at first. We got lost on our way there and then neither of the hosts were home when we arrived. We were worried we made a mistake by booking a room here. Boy, were we wrong. A lady at the winery checked us in and showed us to our room. The place is... More
