Several years ago my wife and I decided to do the bourbon trail. Since she is not a bourbon fan I thought I would treat her to the B&B and wine. She does enjoy wine. I have to admit that I was a little nervous. Boy did that change soon after we met Carolyn. Later that evening we met Eddie.... More

My husband and I were looking for a last minute B&B in the Bardstown area and found Springhill Winery nearby. Eddie warmly greeted us on Saturday evening and we had a very comfortable stay in the Rose Room. We woke up to the smell of breakfast the next morning. Both Carolyn and Eddie prepared a delicious feast/breakfast before we had... More

My daughter and I needed a quick get away to relax and enjoy each others company for her short break home to visit. The Mansion was absolutely beautiful. The architecture in itself - breath taking. We loved our cozy room and delicious glass of wine from the vineyard itself. Sheets were so soft and room clean. Homemade sweets to snack... More

We were in town to visit friends, and this B&B did not disappoint. Eddie and Carolyn were very friendly and accommodating and we enjoyed a top-notch breakfast with them and the other guests. Sweet potato pancakes w/ cream cheese filling?! You bet! I believe we stayed in the Merlot Room and we were amazed at how big the guest rooms... More

My husband and I stayed here one night for a trip to Bardstown. Overall this was a very nice place with one exception being the bathroom. More on that later.. We stayed in the Chardonnay Suite which is one of the smaller rooms. Everything was very clean and the house was decorated nicely with antiques everywhere. There was a small... More

The hostess was knowledgeable and friendly. The "included" wine tasting was a treat. The room was spacious and historically lovely. The atmosphere quiet and serene. The Sunday breakfast was over the top delicious with more tastes than could be sampled. The story of the plantation and the Civil War skirmish by the owner completed the stay.

A beautiful property with large, clean and unique rooms. The hosts are beyond friendly and make you feel like family. Breakfast was amazing! The location is a bit out of the way but just plan to settle in for the night early with a bottle of their wine, you won't be disappointed.

What a jewel of a Bed and Breakfast. First I will say it is a very clean property. The rooms were graciously appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The Inn itslef is full of rich history and is simply beautiful. The pictures do not do the property justice. What took this Bed and Breakfast from Good to Great was... More

We chose this beautiful location for our wedding. Everything was perfect! Eddie and Carolyn had everything covered from the food on Friday night, the minister, flowers , and a fabulous dinner for the reception! I didn't have to worry about anything! We had my husband's family coming in from Montreal and they were amazed and loved the southern hospitality. The... More
