I've stayed at Boone Tavern 3 times and I now live in Berea. It's impressive because the furniture was made by students. Try to reserve your room in advance as they are often full for busy weekends when there are festivals, or when there are homecoming events, etc. Very historical place and great service. If you eat there, I find... More

We fell in love with this hotel and college town. Very clean. The hotel was beautiful, very clean. We ate breakfast there and it was first class. After dinner we walked around the campus and took lots of pictures. The hotel clerk was very imformative and made us feel very welcome. We will def be back again soon.

Although the hotel is picturesque and clean, I found the whole "artisan" environment here a little bit phony and contrived. Catalogs are all over the hotel promoting local "art" (why is it mass-produced then?) and the shops I visited on Sunday evening offered items from South Carolina and Alabama. Our room, which had one very skinny window, overlooked the dumpsters... More

We loved this hotel and college town. We stopped in and we fortunately were able to stay in the Presidential Suite. A lovely room on the third floor. We ate both dinner and breakfast at the inn's restaurant, the food was delicious. We also walked around the quiet campus after dinner. The hotel clerk gave us a map of the... More

The decor, the upkeep and the help were just great. The decor and the sitting areas on each floor are great. The rooms are nicely appointed and the breakfast deal with the room is well worth it. The only problem we had was the wooden slats in the bed popped out in the middle of the night. The hotel did... More

This is a terrific place to stay. This 105-year old hotel is in pristine physical condition--lobby, rocking porch, guest rooms, dining room and common areas that are perfect for a card game or quiet reading area. Hotel and dining staff courteous and helpful. The furniture in the room is lovely and the bed and pillows extremely comfy--a really good night's... More

We stayed one night here for a quick getaway. Our king room was very clean, super comfortable and quiet. My only suggestion would be for them to highlight more of the local arts in the decorating of the room. The walls were somewhat bare. We enjoyed spending time relaxing in the Lincoln room, as well as on the spacious porch.... More

So glad that we decided to spend a night in Berea at this wonderful hotel. It is such an elegant and stately place and we felt as though we had been transported back to the south and were staying on a plantation! The staff were all so friendly and the rooms were immaculate! After dinner, we retired to a couple... More

We love this charming old hotel. Southern hospitality at its finest. Everyone is friendly and polite. The rooms was extremely clean; small but not disappointing - I mean it is a historic hotel! I was very impressed with the "green" renovations. The food was delicious and the staff was gracious. The porch was darling and the perfect weather made it... More
