We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Bardstown, KY in October ’09. The hotel was very nice (typical business class hotel, but perfect for any occasion), and we would definitely recommend it to others. The hotel is like new, and is spotlessly clean. It was quiet, and we slept well. The breakfast was also very satisfying, with the usual selection... more

We travelled to Bardstown as part of the Bourbon Whiskey Trail. It is a quiet comfortable hotel with an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor sunbathing patio attached. Perfect after a hot day testing whiskey. It is situated ona small retail estate so it is quiet and a five minute drive into the centre of Bardstow, which is as nice... more

The Bardstown Hampton Inn could serve as a model for good old "southern hospitality." In addition to providing a clean, comfortable room and a good breakfast, the staff went out of their way to be hospitable and friendly. My room was clean and odor-free, and when I arrived one light had been turned on and the AC was running, which... more

Just returned from Hampton Inn in Bardstown, Ky. It was wonderful. The beds were so comfortable and the room was spotless. I thought the hotel was brand new, but it is actually about 12 yrs old. The staff were very friendly and the complimentary breakfast was nice. We were attending a wedding at My Old Kentucky Home and it was... more

Just returned from a three-night stay at the Hampton Inn in Bardstown. I have stayed at this property many times over the years and always have found it comfortable. The rooms seem a little larger than average and are attractively decorated. The bed was comfortable and had two kinds of pillows - one feather and one foam-filled. A portable lap... more

It's often hard to find decent hotels (even chains) in small towns like this one. But we were very pleased with the accomodations and amenities at the Hampton Inn Bardstown. We were in town for two days for a nearby wedding and we stayed in a king room with sofabed (2 adults, 2 kids - ages 8 and 4) --... more

Stopped here on our way to Mammoth Cave. We had a coupon that we got at the Kentucky Welcome Center on I-75 in Northern Kentucky. Got a room with two double beds. The room was very clean, bathroom was nice and clean, but not too elaborate. The free high-speed internet was a big plus for us, so the kids and... more

We stayed at this property for two nights. Friendly staff except for one very grumpy man who was somehow mad at ME when the toilet overflowed. And he got dirty footprints all over the bathroom floor and didn't clean up. Room set-up was strange, but the bed was comfortable. Heat was smelly and loud. Breakfast buffet was acceptable, but nothing... more

If you are not in a hurry and don't need your cell phone a excellent place to eat is Dagwoods, we have found it the best place to get a steak. We also enjoy staying at the Hampton Inn. It is very clean and friendly. more
