We stayed at the General Nelson Best Western for several days recently while we were touring the bourbon distilleries. They could not have been nicer. We had a clean room, nice pool, and friendly people. We were able to walk to town for dinner, and it was only a short drive to other attractions. more

We stayed the night of August 3, 2007 and found the motel to be very well kept up. The room was very spacious, clean, and did not have any funny smells. Lots of smells here. Hotel is downwind of all the distilleries around the town, and the smell of "mash" is a little much. Room inside smelled as though someone had thrown up - interesting... next night we came down with the stomach flu. Blankets/Spreads showed some stains.
