Outside air smells of distilleries. Clerk couldn't direct us to one of the town's best known restaurants. Room cramped; poor use of space. For instance, closet too big, table empty except for coffee maker, nothing under it. Shower head a hazard; so low I had to bend my knees to wash my head. Shower/tub poorly lit with door open, bathroom... More

No complaints about the room, breakfast, beds -- all just fine -- and the price was okay, but the counter folks didn't seem to be able to make their keys work and were quite unapologetic, even after we had to come back to the office three times, at having failed to explain that there was a "reset" function on the... Understand that there are no Hyatts or Marriott properties in this region. So, choices are limited if you aren't a BB fan. I am not a big fan of hotels without hallways/corridor--whose doors open directly to the outside. I am not a big fan of older hotels who appear to have seen better days. I am not a big fan... More

always stay at this motel to go to the Stephen Foster Play. Location is great & has a bus to pick you up for the play. Husband likes the Stephen Foster restaurant right beside you. Don't even have to get your car out.

I held a week-long seminar in Bardstown, KY and we filled the Best Western. I received no complaints from those that stayed, and everyone was very happy with their room as far as I know. Some comments I received were "my room was a quiet retreat away from a very busy week", and "I've already booked my room for next... More

The entire town was full & I was lucky to find a room. The week before I'd spent in Hamptons & HInnExpresses. Was worried I wouldn't be comfortable. Not to worry. I don't like those memory foam mattresses, but found the other side of the bed was ok. Room was clean, bathroom well-equipped & clean. Microwave & Fridge (not all... More

The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. The beds were very comfortable. There is a small park area in the back of the hotel that added a nice homey touch. The free breakfast is just so-so. I would stay again.

A good place to stay each night for multiple days of Bourbon Trail touring. Centrally located, close to many Distilleries. Having breakfast available in the morning allows for an early start without hunting down a restaurant prior to touring.
