The hotel is a really great place to stay. The rooms are comfy and clean, we have a fridge and a microwave, there are two sinks (one inside the bathroom one out) so my mom and I could get ready at the same time, the pool is fantastic, the breakfast is delicious and there are hot items as well as... We arrived at 3 PM and were told room was not ready. We came back at 4 PM which id check in time and room was still not ready. We finally got in at 4:45 due to staffing problems. No elevators so getting heavy luggage to room on 2nd floor was difficult. Room was not cleaned very well and was... More

We were very satisfied with our stay at the General Nelson Inn in Bardstown except for a few small problems. The furniture and beds were very satisfactory, however, the dust ruffle was caught up under the matress on one side which was a bit disconcerting as it was on the side visible as you stepped into the room. We enjoyed... More

Easy access to Bluegrass Parkway and conveniently located within walking distance of downtown (although be careful there isn't much to do and shops close at 5 -- restaurants are open later). Clean grounds and facility. Beds were comfortable and there were lots of pillows. Very friendly staff who offered great restaurant suggestions (Mammy's Diner downtown - bourbon porks chops were... Staff was friendly and helpful. Inn is older but well kept up and clean. It is centrally located, My grandchildren enjoyed the pool. We would definitely stay there again. The only problem would be if you had to stay on the 2nd floor and had a problem with stairs.

Caring staff, good food, room was ok and clean. We stayed four nights for the Stephen Foster Musical and bourbon tour. The room was clean but the carpet needed a little cleaning. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. The staff was very helpful also.

The beds were very comfortable. Nice, friendly check in/out employee. The only thing was the plunger in the sink would not hold water. That didn't bother me much but it will cost the hotel a high water bill. Would stay there again.

The room at the Best Western was nice and clean. We had two queen beds and one was a memory foam which was really comfortable and the other was really hard and uncomfortable, luckily we only needed one bed so it worked out fine. The location was perfect and you can walk into town where the main street is and... More

This hotel is very conveniently located; it was clean and well kept up. Hotel staff was very friendly. It also receives shuttle service to the State Park for even theater productions! Our room was located on the front side of the hotel, but we did not notice much road noise. Overall, a lovely night!
