We loved our stay at the Red Rose Inn and we loved Bardstown. Red Rose was the perfect spot for being within walking distance of everything in town & very convenient for driving to the nearby distilleries for bourbon tasting. Our room was immaculate and very well decorated. It was also super-quiet which made for a good night's sleep! Breakfast... More

Went to Bardstown with some friends to tour some of the distilleries, stayed two nights, at the Red Rose Inn... great location, walking distance to down town. The Innkeeper Audrey made a beautiful and tasty breakfest every morning. Rooms are very clean and cozy. I highly recommend staying at the Red Rose Inn if you plan on being in the... More

My husband booked this B&B for our anniversary. It was the first time we had ever stayed at a B&B. The location is great as it is in walking distance to downtown. The owner is very nice and accomodating. The room was sufficient. You could definately tell the mattress was old and needs updating. There was a nice deck with... More

Great location ... Comfortable bed ... Fabulous breakfast ... And in addition to a charming innkeeper this B & B comes with two adorable dogs for those who like them .... No extra charge! Walking distance to a quaint downtown.

For a quieter Kentucky Derby weekend, the Red Rose Inn was great. It's close enough to drive to Louisville for the day but far enough removed from the hustle and bustle. Bardstown offers a lot to do. The Civil War Museum is excellent! Be sure to pack a picnic lunch and then kick your shoes off for a cool walk... More

Audrey was a wonderful hostess and we will definitely be back. There is a ton to do in the Bardstown area and Red Rose Inn is centrally located to everything. We highly recommend this as... More

We were three couples that stayed at the Red Rose. We were all on motorcycles touring the local distilleries. It was a fantastic stay. The property was very nice. Beautiful yard with little fish ponds and flower gardens etc. The back deck has plenty of shade and seating perfect for relaxing and sipping bourbon. The rooms were huge and the... More

We stayed at the Red Rose while touring some of the fine distilleries in Kentucky. Audrey was very nice and a wonderful cook. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I recommend checking this place out if you are in the area. Oh, It is also right in the heart of town so you can walk to all of the little shops... More

We stayed at the Red Rose in for only one night while on the famous Bourbon Trail in Kentucky. The accommodations were very clean and the hostess was kind and very non-intrusive. The breakfast was delicious and the bed was very comfortable. The room we stayed in (Violet Room) was one of the smaller rooms in the house, but it... More
