We spent our girls weekend at the Millstone Cottage. We were not disappointed. It's a small cottage but had plenty of room inside. A small continental breakfast was provided. No stove but did have a microwave and a full size refrigerator. Coffee pot was provided as well as the coffee. Bathroom was BIG with a Jacuzzi tub as well as... More

We stayed at the Millstone Cottage and couldn't be more pleased. It's conveniently located just a block or two from the shops and restaurants of downtown Bardstown. The charming house offers spacious rooms loaded with local Kentucky art and antiques and a delightful front porch perfect for morning coffee drinking. All in our party of 3, including me, raved about... More

We stayed with our friends in this newly redone home..the colors and décor are a perfect match for this old quaint cottage. So much to do in this town and we come every year to visit Bardstown & the Kentucky Dinner Train by RJ Corman and will stay again in this cottage. It has everything you need in a area... More

I'm not much of a B&B person, so I was a little hesitant about staying here. I shouldn't have been. We stayed in the Chapeze Suite, which is a new room in the Bourbon House (the same building that the Bourbon Loft is in). First about the room - it's gorgeous. Margaret Sue did a wonderful job creating this first... More

I have stayed at several of the Colonels Cottages properties before but this stay I stayed at their newest suite at the Kentucky Bourbon House. The suite is spacious and very well appointed. The bathroom has a wonderful shower. I loved my stay.

We stayed for two nights in the bourbon loft whilst on holiday from the UK. The loft is fantastically located right in the centre of Bardstown, with several bars, restaurants and shops in easy walking distance, and major stores only slightly further afield. The loft itself is very spacious with a large sitting room, a separate bathroom and one bedroom... More

This review is for mine and my wifes stay over a year ago. I spazzed out and completely forgot to review this until now,but no fears, my memory of our stay at The Colonels' Pioneer cottage is clear as day. Our stay was in mid July,2014.Bardstown is our getaway spot because the town is simply just about as charming as... More

We stayed at the John Fitch cottage two nights during our Bourbon Trail road trip. We arrived before lunch and drove to the cottage just to park the car and walk into town. We were surprised to find a nice note on the door welcoming us, so we were able to take our things in and get settled before exploring... More

We stayed in the Pioneer Park Cottage & it was so relaxing. The queen bed was so comfortable...I slept 9 1/2 hours! The jacuzzi tub got a workout from my daughters. Short walk to town for great food & quaint shops. Old cemetery across the street...so cool! Sloping floors, charming details in this old home make for a great getaway... More

We were fortunate to be able to rent the Millstone cottage, for that weekend, with a last minute reservation. The location is outstanding. You are two - three blocks from the civil war museum (same street) and right around the corner from the main downtown shopping area. Bardstown is very small, very walkable. The cottage, itself, was impeccably furnished in... More
