We stayed in the Pioneer Park Cottage & it was so relaxing. The queen bed was so comfortable...I slept 9 1/2 hours! The jacuzzi tub got a workout from my daughters. Short walk to town for great food & quaint shops. Old cemetery across the street...so cool! Sloping floors, charming details in this old home make for a great getaway... More

We were fortunate to be able to rent the Millstone cottage, for that weekend, with a last minute reservation. The location is outstanding. You are two - three blocks from the civil war museum (same street) and right around the corner from the main downtown shopping area. Bardstown is very small, very walkable. The cottage, itself, was impeccably furnished in... More

My wife and I just spent a superb Bed and Breakfast weekend in Bardstown, KY in the Bourbon Loft, one of the Colonel's Cottage Inns. The location was perfect, right on the Old Courthouse Circle in downtown Bardstown. The Loft was the two room upstairs portion of a beautifully restored circa 1770's house. The comfortable bedroom was complimented by a... More

My wife and I recently stayed in the Bourbon Loft. Great location, nice accommodations, and friendly staff. There is only one bedroom for two, and the rest of the loft is your living area. No rooms downstairs, so you have the run of the house. Be sure to check out the Harrison Smith House two doors down for dinner.

While traveling our family of four really enjoys being able to walk to different places and not worry about parking or traffic. The pioneer park cottage is a perfect location for exploring Bardstown on foot. We were able to walk to dinner and walk through the town. The cottage offered us a little more privacy than staying in a motel... More

We enjoy a B&B, but this night did not have the luxury of a lengthy, extended breakfast. This cottage fit us perfectly - 2 bedrooms (1Q/2T) 2 baths (1 w/ shower, 1 w/ double spa tub) ...which after a long day of driving felt heavenly! Filled with antiques, yet not cluttered or musty feeling. Floors sloped, doors didn't shut quite... More

My husband and I stayed in the John Fitch cabin/house and thought it was great. It was clean and had everything we needed. It was perfect for 2 people. It was close to everything in the Bardstown, KY area. We usually stay in a bed and breakfast and the nice thing with this place is they stock the fridge with... More

My husband was a bit leary about trying a B and B but he loved this set up. This is completely private and if you don't want to mingle with other guests over breakfast, this is a great place. He said it was the best continental breakfast he'd had. Our host stated that the sweet rolls were the best in... More

Heavy rain had us making an unscheduled stop. We called and made a reservation for the Bourbon Loft. Wonderful setup with separate bedroom, lovely private living room and a small but functional and pretty bathroom. Several places for dinner and drinks in the immediate area. We slept well, woke up to a nice breakfast and headed out into the sunshine.... More

The Colonel and Margaret Sue are the best hosts that you could ever want to have. Our cottage was spacious, with a nice den, two bedrooms (one with two poster twin beds and one with a poster queen bed), a jacuzzi equipped bathroom (with separate shower) that is larger than most Bardstown hotel rooms, and a full kitchen. A continental... More
