My husband and I stayed here for Valentines day. We were in the Stiles room. We enjoyed the room very much. Neither of us are afraid of stairs. We found that being lodged away from others quite peaceful. The room actually has 3 rooms, a large bedroom, a small room good for reading, and a large bathroom. The only things... more

Lovely property.Clean. Staff needs to step it up on customer needs. Don't dictate want works best for the staff. Listen to your client. Meals were just adequate. Pricey for what you receive. more

Just got back about three hours ago. We stayed for three days and two nights as RoseMark Haven in the Bare-Rose Room. Unfortunately, we didn't get to eat dinner there (it's only open Thurs-Sat) but the breakfasts were the best food we ate on our trip. The first breakfast was quiche (fantastic!), blueberry scones, bacon, sliced tomatoes, fruit with custard,... more

The people who run and serve at Rosemark are friendly and very charming indeed. That is why is is so hard to tell them that Rosemark is not quite what it should be--but it does have potential. When my husband dropped the soap in the shower, there was not enough room to lean down and get it. We were in... more

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at Rosemark Haven in early October, 2008. In summary: Would we stay again: Yes. Would we recommend it to others: Yes Highlights: The entire "compound" of 4 buildings is beautiful; well maintained guest rooms; friendliness of Nikki and Mike; the wine bar (including wine and beer lists); dinner. Low-lights: Breakfast; steep stairs to... more

We stay at several B&B's each year and this one rates average at best when ranked against others we have stayed at. The room was OK. Shower was so small that it was literally just barely large enough for one person. Room was temperature was very warm. It was over 95 outside and near 80 in the room....very uncomfortable.. Rules,... more

This is a beautiful, high ceilinged historical home that has rooms on the 2nd floor and an Italian restaurant on the first; a wine/beer bar is in the nearby restored barn. It all looks pretty, but there are a couple of issues that detracted from our experience. The common area on the 2nd floor - where the rooms are -... more

My wife and I recently stayed at Rosemark Haven B&B during a quick weekend getaway to Bardstown. Our expectations were exceeded with the quality of the accommodations and services. While our stay was only one night in length, we immediately felt a strong bond with the property. The main house has been beautifully restored with countless ornate details. Our room,... more

Spent two nights at this B & B last weekend and was very pleased with the accommodations. 4 women traveling together and stayed in the Federal House, separate from the main B & B. We had a 2-story, well-restored federal style house all to ourselves. Beds were comfortable with high-quality linens, also had fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. Lighting was a... more

My husband and I stayed at the Rosemark Haven for our anniversary vacation and had a wonderful time. We stayed in the Halstead room on the second floor. We loved the double jacuzzi tub, although it was difficult to work. The only real con was the lack of a standing shower. I had a hard time washing my hair in... more
